4 fancy Victorian squarish stamped brass drawer, door pulls 2"" OC LOOK
A lot of 4 late 19th century or early 20th century brass drawer or door pulls with a lot of embossed fancy detail. Unusual shape and style. All have the bails. The basic shape of backplates is almost a square but measure approx. 2-3/4 x 3" at widest areas. The backplates are stamped brass and the bails are cast brass. Have great original darkening or patina. Which I wouldn't think of cleaning or polishing. Have some greenish oxidation and varying surface darkening. Looks like they are meant to be oriented with the 3" dimension up and down and the 2-3/4" horizontally. The bolt holes are 2" on center. The only thing not original is that only one of them has one kind of mounting bolts with the pan head type heads and the others have the tapered underneath side with flat heads. I don't know which style would have been ... morethe original but it is easy to find old bolts though so shouldn't be a problem finding all to match if you feel that is necessary. Mounting bolts have surface rust but still work. When the bails are seated tightly against the backing plate they are made such that you can't really get your fingers between them so you have to just pull with your finger tips. This is a vintage lot of 4 beautiful matching ornate heavy brass pull handles. They're in very nice vintage condition with just some surface wear and small tarnish spots. There are no breaks or cracks.please see pictures for any further description/condition. They measure 7" wide x approximately 2 1/8" tall and are approximately 3 1/2" center to center on screw holes, and just be aware that the stems that go into the furniture are thick and you may need to slightly drill out the a holes in your piece a little larger. Antique Victorian walnut/mahogany window double shutter w/brass hinges
Offered for auction is this very nice antique Victorian inside window double shutter with super brass/bronze hinges. These shutters were mounted inside the window casing inside the home and used to close off the light or cold. The very dark side is the side that faced the window. Someone has begun to refinish the shutter and you can see the beautiful Mahogany or Walnut wood in the stripped side. This would make a super door front for a cabinet. A super piece to use as an appliance garage cover in the kitchen, or use as intended in your window casing. 23 7/8" t x 18 1/2" w. total width) From the design of the hinges, I'm thinking this is from the late 1870's to the 1880's.

Set of 4 Victorian 1851 Goodyear Brass Iron and Wood Wheels Furniture Casters
We have here a Set of 4 Victorian 1851 Casters. The wheel appears to be wood. But being made by Goodyear, they could be rubber. Its hard to tell, and I do not want to scratch it to make sure. They measure 3" tall. Wheels have 1" diameter. Iron peg is 1 3/8" tall. Peg is 1/4" wide. 5/8" between the three screw holes, center to center. All the tires say Goodyear 1851. LR Combs Co. On the iron top it says Pat May 20'73. 1873! The base is brass. The top is iron. Has 3 screw holes. All wheels are smooth and the iron top rotates smoothly. These were off an old victorian desk! Perfect for refinishing a piece with a great pair of period casters! One wheel. On the 3 screw holes, one of the holes has a split. I think they pierced it to close the edge. Its definitely has a split, but appears to be connected, like they pulled ... moreit out and it broke, but it was still hot and came back together! They are worn. Circa 1900-2 complete sets of drawer pulls. back parts are thin brass. 5 inches long-has a Paisley pattern. the only fault I can find is in the thin brass backings.they are so thin that there are a few places that I can see a crack- also on the back-I can see the start of verdigris. in the second photo you can see what the back looks like-and see the grey starting to form. handles are heavy brass-and so are the parts that hold that handles on. no problems with deterioration that I can see. each set has 4 parts-back. Antique Brass Victorian French Provincial Drawer Pulls Set Of 6 Ultra RARE L@@K!
This is a set of stunning Victorian brass hardware which came off of a Victorian dresser dated 1850. The smaller of the pulls have a center bore of 2 1/4 inches. And the larger pulls have a 4 inch center bore. They have their original screws included. The patina on these is great. These have not been polished or cleaned- they are as found. Unfortunately, the dresser these were on was damaged in transport from an antique store in Southern Utah, and basically the pulls were the only parts undamaged, so some lucky person will love these! The overall length of the smaller two pulls is 4 1/8 inches with a height of 2 1/2 inches. The large pulls have an overall length of 5 7/8 inches, and a height of 2 7/8 inches. the projection, or depth is 1/2 inch on the smaller pulls, and 1 inch on the larger pulls. 8 "Victorian" style brass drawer pulls, 1900-1950
Theses knobs were salvaged from an antique dresser and seemed too nice to dispose of. I believe they are made of brass. I was able to polish the back side of one of the bails. And a part of the front.the center circular design where the gold paint had been worn off(see in photo 3 and 4) I'm not sure if the pulls are brass. When viewing the tips of the pulls from the back, they seem to be brass, just very badly tarnished. As illustrated. The drawer pulls have a single bolt attachment. The pulls measure 2 1/2" in width and 1 3/8" in height. All pulls are complete and undamaged, although aged. I am selling all 8 as a set.
