Eastlake Spoon Carved Victorian Pediment Fretwork Tiger Oak Panel
Large. Salvaged panel with spoon carved Eastlake details, 2 medallions, pierced fretwork with clovers, 4 columns. Measures 13.5 inches tall in the front and 13.25 inches in back for one long side angles back slightly. The piece measures 45.5 inches long. Has a one inch ledge. Beautiful dark tiger oak. There are two holes on the ends(one each end) and one minor chip on the very end(see photo) On the back there are scratches like someone scratch the wood when taking something off- perhaps something that was at one time behind the open fretwork. There is also a red stain- perhaps the remnants of old glue. On one of the smaller panels, there are couple of small chips on the front(see photo) Other than this, the fretwork is in great shape. Near mint condition! Authentic. Circa 1800s, architectural pieces. 1/4 sawn, tiger stripe, oak construction. No breaks, repairs, or missing pieces. Wonderful patina. Lot of 6 Antique Solid Oak Wood Brackets Shelf Brackets Tiger Oak Quartersawn I’m baaaaack! I had the incredible opportunity to chaperone a school related trip to France. Germany and Belgium. It focused on American conflicts in WWI and WWII and it was heaven for a history lover like me. I was able to fit three items in my bag for you– look for them this week. I’m also still listing new items from my Indiana picking trip– lots of barn find and Amish farm finds from the two fellas that I visit every year. Enjoy! I have no idea what these wonderful oak pieces came from- was it furniture. Or parts of shelving- I don't know, but I took one look and I could see them being used as shelf brackets- what's not to love about solid oak with a kittler dark patina? There's 6 in all- as you can see, 4 small ones that match in size and two large ... moreones that match in size. The small ones measure 3 15/16" by 1 15/16" and are 1 1/2" thick. They each have two screw mounting holes- one on the long side and one on the short side. The sides are finished/varnished while the tops and bottoms are not- but they have the same patina color as the rest. You can see tiger graining on some sides. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with rustic wear from age and use- scratches, scrapes, nicks, finish wear and dings. One has a shallow corner chip on the inside- the corner is missing but it's shallow and really hard to tell- it's on the inside part of the curve on the long end. The two lager ones measure 8" by 8 1/2" and are a smidge over 3/4" thick. These ones do not have mounting holes that go all the way through(like the smaller ones) each side has 3 small nail or screw holes(but don't go through) from whatever they were once attached to. You may need to drill holes if you plan to use them as shelf brackets. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. Pair 1800s Tiger Oak Arts & Crafts Architectural Panels Mission Library Columns
Matching pair of original. Prairie style, library panels. Circa 1800s guaranteed. Solid quarter sawn oak construction with loads of imaginative possibilities. Each has a long center recessed panel. Inside is criss-cross inscribed carving with round medallions near each end and beveled grooves down the middle. They measure 36 3/4 inches by 6 inches. One end cab be cut down to match the other if required. Genuine Arts& crafts antiques! Finish not perfect, but near mint condition with no cracks or repairs. Many other architectural antiques listed. Great Highly Carved Griffin/Gargoyle Solid Oak and Tiger Oak Sideboard Top
Up for auction could be the bar backs of bar backs. This is a very high end carved Victorian Griffin/ Gargoyle Server sideboard mirror frame. This beautiful piece is a massive 64" long x 24" tall x 12" deep and would make one home brewer quite the bar back Frame is all white oak and is a mixture of quarter-sawn. Griffins alone are 20" tall x 10' deep x 3.5" thick and are solid Quarter-sawn Oak. The gargoyles are in very nice shape. With great detail and creative faces. Teeth are very sharp, just like they were in the 1880-1890's when this piece was carved. I guarantee any buyer will be in love with this piece when they see it in person.Wow, I have not even mentioned the thick carving that runs the length of this piece along the top. Nice and deep like everybody likes their carvings. This is one sweet piece ... morethat can only have one owner at a time, so ensure that it is you. This piece is for pick-up only in Newark, De. Fabulous Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Figural Lady Head Mirror/Overmantle! PUonly
For PICK UP only! Offering a FABULOUS Antique Quartersawn Oak Mirror/Overmantle featuring a Stunning Figural Victorian Lady Head with GREAT detail! She is quite lovely& has a depth of over 2" from top of her head to chin is about 6" Lots of beautiful trim on this mirror with only one tiny curl missing as seen in photo. That could be replaced very easily! There are some small holes on each far side of wood frame where either shelves or possibly light fixtures once were. The mirror sections are great in design especially the HEART center section! All of the sections of mirrors have considerable reflective loss& that could be addressed by the new owner very easily! It is HIGHLY doubtful that you will find another mirror like this one! Overall measurements are 54 1/2" wide by 37 1/2" tall& over 2" thick at ... morethe head portion!
