circa 1870 victorian GOTHIC architectural salvage These two brackets were salvaged from a large brick building in the Baltimore metro area- they sat under the window sill of a great gothic building. Decorative elements! They have a flat surface on the top- and could be used for shelf supports. I have had previous customers buy similar pieces for a mantle support. These have old. Crusty, dry and faded white paint! Great gothic detail on the incised design! THese measure 9" high x 6.75" wide on top& 4.75" wide on the bottom edge- they are 3.75" thick or deep! Pair Replacement Mirror Bracket Key Swivel Supports Antique Dresser SOLID BRASS
This is for a PAIR of solid brass replacement swivel supports for a mirror on an antique dresser. Commode, sideboard, etc. This type of mirror support has a round decorative finial on the outside of the yoke with a threaded brass rod that goes through the yoke and then through a wide brass washer that functions to hold the mirror and the yoke apart, and then screws into the brass fastener that is mounted(screws into) into the mirror frame. Sounds much more complicated than it really is! The round finial measures 1 1/2" across. The brass washer measures 1/4" wide and the exposed end of the threaded flange that screws into the mirror frame is 3/16" thick. Each support comes with a shorter threaded rod that is 2" long and longer threaded rod that is 3 1/2" long for use with various widths of yokes and mirrors. Lot of 2 Vintage Lion's Head Shelf Bracket Supports Corbels
These two plaster lion's heads purportedly came from the old Aragon Ballroom in Chicago during the 20's and 30's but take that bit of trivia with a grain of salt as that is what we were told by the seller. My wife and I have had them since 1963 and they were old when we acquired them at an auction outside of Chicago. We used them as decorations for many years but they no longer suit our decorating style. They are being sold as a pair. They measure 14" tall. 6" wide and 8" deep. They are made of plaster and have brackets molded into them through which I installed bolts to support them. They weigh a bit over 8 lbs each. One has some damage at the top where it supports the shelf but I think that is easily repairable.

Lot 4 Old Oak Shelf Bracket Corbel Supports 2 Way Decorative Scallop Flush Mount We’re offering this Lot of 4 vintage Solid Oak Shelf Bracket Corbel Supports. Circa 1950s. They have decorative scallop profile& measure 5”W x 8 ¾”L x 1 ¾” thick. Great as they have 2 sets of recessed metal hangers for flush mount to wall& placement in either direction depending upon how wide a shelf board you want to use. Condition: pre-owned in good used condition. Have some small dings dents& chips on edge or in the wood typical to age& use. Note no warp& all 4 sit flush to wall in both directions. These are heavy duty brackets& recommend using mollies with screws for best stability on wall. We’ve wiped them down good& rubbed in lemon oil to refresh the wood grain. Could use a wipe with stain.
