Here is an Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cast iron leg. Good condition. Wheels turn free. It was repainted in a cream color a LONG time ago, which seems to have prevented rust. There are no cracks. It has a nice ring when tapped. Please see the photos for the size of this item. These were sold in several different sizes. This was used on a full size Singer. This piece is a flip-top style machine that sits inside the cabinet and lifts out when you pull open the lid. The cabinet features four drawers and one small flip out compartment. The drawers have a variety of threads and sewing accessories included. The cabinet is a beautiful oak with a really nice patina on it, and really interesting ornate drawer handles. CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS Stand Base Industrial Vintage Sewing Oak leg 'covers'
joe calcite INDUSTRIAL OAK& CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS STAND BASE This offering is for a set of cast iron sewing machine legs/ stand. BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE. I've seen the queen anne style legs, with the curve and'shoulder' part of the cast iron. In this case, the cast iron legs come with oak legs with a groove in the back to fit snugly over the iron and screw on from the rear. This gives you the option of using just the iron legs, or dressing them up with oak as your mood and decor dictate. To complete the transformation, I have included the trim pieces from the original upper cabinet so that the oak runs top to bottom. Unfortunately, the lower 5" of one is broken off, but placed on the side facing a wall or sofa, it would go unnoticed by most. Given the unique character, many wouldn't care. There are no cracks or breaks ... morein the iron. The paint was originally brown. But is now heavily worn with some light rust in places. The finish on the oak was dried out and flaking badly, so the rest of the finish was removed with a stiff brush and the exposed faces were clear coated. The wood itself is also worn. You are buying ONE(1) Singer sewing machine drop front drawer. 14 1/4 opening. 14 7/8 total length 3 7/8 opening.4 1/8 total height 2 3/4 inch protrusion into the base cabinet. Please note that these old drawers had wooden knobs that did not take screws to hold them in. they had wooden screw threads and screwed into the drawer and they become weak with time. this one is still pretty strongly held but a really energetic person can pull it out of the socket.

Antique Industrial Cast Iron Standard Treadle Sewing Machine 18" Table Base
This auction is for a matching pair of treadle sewing machine parts. They are from a short style base and measure about 18" tall. Each side is about 15 1/2" wide at the bottom and about 10" wide at the top. They can be attached to any size top to be repurposed as a coffee table or end table. Great early industrial style with some minor surface rust. But most of it's original black paint intact. Low minimum bid, no reserve auction! They weigh about 15 lbs. so keep shipping charges in mind when bidding!

Antique cast iron ornate sewing machine legs base.Industrial machine age salvage
Antique and a very ornate cast iron sewing machine base legs. In the center is a monogram with intertwined letters L.I.M.CO. Dont know what company that is. Legs are 23 1/4" high. Bottom base is 19 1/2" across. Top frame is 15 1/4" across. Has an additional cast iron arm for added stability and support. On the bottom is also a piece of hardened oak wooden bar to stabilize the bottom area. It is in great presentable condition with original black paint. Light scratches and surface rust mostly on the bottom of feet. Each leg weighs 15 pounds. Would make a nice bench. Table, tv stand, etc. Pictured is an example of how these industrial machine age legs are re-purposed and up-cycled today.
