This is a whole desk but is too heavy so I am just selling the legs from it. I wanted you to see what it could look like as a desk but the wood is bad in some spots but you could easily replace the wood if you wanted it as a desk again. Before you ask the only way I would sell this complete is if you come and pick it up because it is just too heavy as is. The metal legs could make an awesome table base or whatever else you can think of. I'm not sure if they are cast iron or steel but they are heavy which is good for using as a base. You can see there are some adjustable parts for height.

NORTH MANCHESTER IND. is embossed on the top of both swivel arms& A2L on the front of one and A2R on the front of the other one. There is a 2 screw bolt nuts on each side that unscrewed and moved to adjust the height. Backsides have embossed H. A, A1L, A1R. Both of the sides feet are screwed into a board. Antique/Vintage CAST IRON *ECLIPSE* SCHOOL DESK FRAME Left Side STEAM PUNK
This item is the left side of the cast iron frame of an Eclipse Brand school desk which was in common use after the turn of the century. The desks were two pieces with each section being both the front half of one desk& the rear half of a second desk. One student sat on the seat portion of one and worked in the desk section of another. The piece has a patina of rust which can be cleaned by either submersion or sandblasting if it being used to repair a desk. The joint of the seat bracket is currently frozen but should be easily releasable with common solvent products such as WD40. The piece could also be used in a variety of ways as a decorator piece such as a wall hanging or in some form of steam punk creation. The piece measures about 28" x 28" in an approximate measurement of the distance from the front of the seat bracket ... moreto the rear of the desk section. It weighs about 16 pounds. There are no broken sections of the metal and the word"Eclipse" is fully intact. The bolt holes for possible floor mounting are intact. This is the smallest chair we have ever come across. And the cast iron pedestal base is perfectly level and flat- no tilt at all. I have taken pictures with the seat still attached with the 4 screws to the pedestal base and I also took pictures after we removed the wooden seat. We are going to ship the chair with the seat NOT ATTACHED. We are including the original mounting screws so attaching the base to the seat again will be easy– only a flat tip ... morescrewdriver needed. The chair stands 21 ½” tall when the seat is attached. The wooden chair by itself is 13 ¼” tall at the back and the seat is 10 ½” x 11” x 1 ¼” The wood is in very good condition with minor signs of wear and scuff marks and scratches on the top surfaces. The bottom of the seat has a few cracks in the wood and a very old small chunk of wood that came out– all if which has occurred over the years– please look at the pictures to get a better idea of these minor flaws. The cast iron pedestal base(by itself) weighs 5lbs. Stands 9” tall, measures 7 3/8” across the round bottom, 8 ¼” across the top, and the center post is about 2 ¼” wide. Both the top and bottom surfaces have 4 holes for mounting screws. The pedestal base has the original black paint, most of which still in place. There is one minor flaw on this piece– a small hole in the cast iron that measures ¼” x 3/8” this hold occurred during the manufacturing process and in no way at effects the structural integrity or strength of the base. Antique Cast Iron School Desk Legs #3 Steampunk or Upcycling Sears Roebuck & Co
I am selling this great pair of legs(haha) Seriously. These cast iron legs are off an antique school desk made By Sears Roebuck and Company. These legs would allow the wood seat to flip up. In great working condition. These legs are marked#3 on the outside. Measures 25.5 tall by 28" wide when the seat piece is extended to the sitting position.

This is a antique/vintage Cast Iron& Wood Superior Automatic child's school desk. Although it is currently in pieces everything is accounted for you will just need hardware to reassemble it. The leg supports are a Steampunk/Romantic Shabby style/look. They have an ornate flower like design on them. They are in very good condition with breakage/damage that I can find. These always make an excellent entry way/foyer piece of home décor. Otherwise turn them into a project of some sort. Up for auction is a pair of very ornate cast iron legs from an antique child's school desk. They are in very good condition. The legs measure 28" from the bottom to the highest point. The legs are 16" across at the bottom, the top is 12 1/2" across, what was the seat is 12" across and what was the back rest is 14 1/2" high. They have black paint with some surface rust. Pair Of Antique Cast Iron School Desk Legs, Rare!
A pair of unique antique cast iron school desk legs. These measure approximately 25 3/4" tall. 13 1/2" from back to extended arm and 12 1/2" from outer foot to foot. It has some numbers marked on them 3-4 on both and then after R and L for right and left There is some primitive wear and part of one of the feet is missing but over all in good antique condition. Vtg Antique Original 1881 #2 A.H. Andrews Cast Iron School Desk Bench Legs Parts
This is a fantastic pair of early original antique A.H. Andrews cast iron school desk legs from the 1880's. There is a patent date on one of the seat brackets that looks like 1881. There is a large number 2 in the middle of both legs that might correspond with the size or model of the desk. Others I've seen didn't have numbers or were marked with a number 3. And these look like they have more detail. They are also marked New York, Chicago. There is some black paint left. But the majority of the paint has worn off and has been replaced by surface rust. The decorative bracket that holds the seat rotates on both legs, so the seat could have been pushed down for use or up storage or transport. These would make a fantastic bench or architectural piece. They are still sturdy and solid, moving parts still move, and nothing is broken, ... morebent, or missing. There are three holes on each foot, so they could be bolted down. There is only one other screw hole on each, at the end of the seat bracket, so I'm not sure how a desk top or bench would attach. They each measure 29" W with the seat down or 19" W with it up and stand 27 1/2" H. They measure 18" W at the feet and 14" W where the desk top attaches. They will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
