VINTAGE PLATED BRASS DRAWER PULLS.set of 2 These 2 heavy duty plated brass steel ring drawer pulls are still in very good condition. Some minor scratches and some darkening of the steel rings. They both match. And each has 4 six pointed stars in the design. One has a separation of the back plate(last photo) but this will snug up when installed. They also each have two tiny holes for nails to stabilize the back mounting plate, They measure about 3 1/16" across and 2" in height. The rings measure about 1 5/8" on the outside diameter. A shelf in the middle and draping down the center while the pull ring has beading texture. The hardware has a type of a glimmer to it along with a hint of green. This set of 4 pulls were removed from a set of vintage Regency style end tables. While the rings are solid metal(not hollow) All parts are attracted to a magnet& appear to be brass plated instead of solid brass. That doesn't affect their design or appeal. The pulls could easily be polished up with Brasso&or given a new finish with Rub'n Buff or Guilder's Paste in whatever choice of metal the new owner prefers. It's getting harder to find matching antique hardware in usable condition. And even tougher to find enough of it. Here we offer a nice set of eight early 1900's white metal backplates with matching ring pulls. Previously brass plated. Some has worn off and the silver color of the metal is showing through. Some of the nuts are original, some replaced, all in good working order. This pair of drawer pulls say: SINGER MFG CO" in raised relief on the back plates. They were used on the drawers of a sewing machine. They are made of stamped brass that has nickel plating. The screws and nuts in the center that holds them onto the drawer is made of steel and has some corrosion. The back plates and ring are nickel plated with some wear and bending. See pictures.
