1960's Original Jens Risom Desk Parts Handles Walnut Restoration or Repurpose
For Sale are parts of an original Jens Risom Desk. I don't know much about the desk. My guess is it is from the 1960's. I believe it may be walnut. I purchased these parts locally with the idea that I would repurpose the top into a table but that never happened. I'm not sure what parts are missing- most likely a frame with legs including a part between the top and the two base pieces. Here are the condition details of each piece: Top: It measures 72 inches by 30 inches wide by 1 inch thick. Varnish is thin and scratched on top and underside. One edge as a small moisture stain on edge. Risom label is missing on underside- it was there when I bought it but is now missing. Underside has screw holes to either attach the missing frame piece or maybe attach the two'boxes' 3 Drawer Box- Two drawers are missing a corner of wood ... moreon drawer fronts. Varnish is thin and scratched. It measures 29.5 long by 165 inches wide by 19 inches tall. 3 original handles. Bottom has no screw holes so missing frame must have included legs Door Front Box: Missing the hinges for the door. My guess is this may have been a file drawer. Varnish is thin and scratched. Vintage Walnut 3/4 full Poster Bed Restoration/Repurpose
Offering a heavy solid walnut vintage bed for restoration/repurposing. It's missing the center finial and the 2 medallions. 4 table legs from an old walnut(I think) dining room table. They have been overpainted cream color. 29" long. They still have the original metal casters on the bottom. They are nicely turned and reeded. Federal style. Originally they were attached to a part of the table with bolts& wing nuts. These are still attached. Repurpose! Vintage Cast Iron Funiture Hardware Rod Restoration Repurpose
This is a lot of 4 pieces of rod iron that was taken off of some vintage furniture from late 60's or early 70's. There are two identical sets that can be used for restoration or repurposed use. The bigger pieces are about 25 1/2" wide and the"U" pieces are about 17 3/4" wide and all are 3/4" deep and 1/4" thick. Larger pieces have six holes each for mounting and"U" shaped each have three. Vintage Princess Banjo Patented June 20, 1929 for Parts, Restoration, Repurpose
You are bidding on an incomplete vintage antique banjo. The neck is marked PRINCESS and the metal ring on the pot is marked PATENTED JUNE 29. 1920. The pot has inlay wood all around the bottom outside of the pot. The metal rod going through the pot has some pitting or rough spots. On the bottom underside of the pot, there are some cracks in the wood around the bottom rim. The head is torn. All the hooks are there. The pot including metal ring measures approximately 12 1/2 inches across the top. The measurement on the bottom of the pot from the outer edge to outer edge of the wood rim is approximately 12 inches across. The measurement on the bottom from the inside edge to inside edge of the wood is approximately 10 1/2 inches across. It is approximately 3 inches high inches including the metal ring. The neck is missing some of the inlaid and ... morefive of the metal pieces that go across the neck. Some of the veneer is chipped off around the outer edges on the top part where the tuners go. There is a dark line about three inches long where the neck connects the neck connects to the pot. I'm not sure if it is a surface crack because it feels smooth to the touch. It could be a pen mark or wood grain but not sure. There are some thin wood pieced stuffed between the neck and pot where they connect. The neck measures approximately 19 inches. All wood has some wear on the finish. All metal parts have some wear, tarnish, or surface rust. All parts are dirty and will not be cleaned.
