Steampunk Salvage Lamp Light Industrial Art Machine Age Repurposed Steam Gauge
This is a new lamp made from vintage and new components as seen in the pictures. All electrical components are new for safety. The switch is a two circuit rotary canopy switch so that either bulb can be lit seperatly or both at the same time making it a 3 way light. The switch is disguised in the center pressure gauge. The base measures about 9"X 11" and stands about 25" tall as seen in the pictures. The flexible goose neck(vintage oil filler funnel) is adjustable which changes the height. Edison bulbs are not supplied because of damage during shipping. Edison bulbs are readily available and look best. But any bulbs will work. Please e-mail with any questions before bidding. This is an antique tin ceiling panel wall art hanging that measures 18" x15" The tin panel alone measures 12" x 12 1/2" The tin panel has a dogwood pattern and is archetectural salvage from the Union Co. Courthouse in Jonesboro. Illinois. The courthouse was torn down in early 2013 and was the oldest courthouse in the state at the time. The wood used on this wall hanging also came from the courthouse. The wood is repurposed book shelf from County Clerk's record room. I have mounted the tin to the wood and there is a hanging wire on the back. The paint is chippy white on the top and there are other colors underneath. May contain lead paint. See my photos which shows the demolition of the old building and where the tin came from. This stand was previously a smoke stand. But I see it now as a candle stand. It's super ornate and has great old patina! Most of it is metal which adheres to a magnet along with black glass along the stem. This would look great on a hearth! The base is 9 1/4" diameter. And it stands about 27" high. So what could he use the old stands for? Well, he decided the tired old stands would make great floor lamps. And they did! The actual cymbal is a well used MX by CB Percussion and is attached to a recycled round plastic light shade. It has a mini drum stick custom made for the lamp as a pull handle. Antique Wheel Fretwork Hat Rack Repurposed Old Architectural Salvage Vtg 4361-15
Nice antique wheel repurposed into a hat rack. Unsure of the wheel original purpose possibly from an spinning wheel. The wood frame and spindles are a hardwood and are undamaged. There are some slight separations at the joints. 7 old cast iron hooks have been added. This piece would be suitable to use for a hat rack coats would be a little heavy for it.
