This auction is for a 1971 Gibson SG Deluxe for repair. Parts, or restoration. The guitar body was routed for an extra third pickup. It looks to have the original electronics on the control plate, but the original pickups are missing. The photos show the guitar with generic pickups mounted to illustrate appearance. The pickups are not included. There was a partial neck crack at some time that has been repaired. The repair is solid. The bridge also is not original. I took lots of photos to illustrate the cosmetic condition. The neck is straight and the frets are in great shape. This auction is for a vintage/antique violin that is in need of some repair/restoration attention. It is 23 1/2" long from end-to-end and is 8 1/4" wide at the lower body. The body itself is 14" long. The fingerboard is 10" long. There are no cracks to the wood that I can see anywhere. There is a slight separation of wood where the neck meets the body. New strings are certainly needed as are at least two new pegs. There is no bow with the violin. The chin rest has some raised lettering on it and reads"BECKER'S? HIN REST. with the" representing letters that are worn and can't be read. You can see this in the photos. Inside the violin is a small rectangular label. The label appears to have been initialed in the lower right corner in pencil. Alvarez Dove Model 5024 Vintage Japan SN 00156 Heel Repair Restoration Project This is an early Alvarez Dove Model 5024. The guitar has a heel repair and not a good one as screws were used. The pick guard has been made from some type of plastic but you can find a dove pick guard here on ebay. The truss rod loosens and tightens but there is a slight back bow in the neck visible at the spot over the heel probably a result of the repair and the truss rod is set very loose. There is some finish checking in a few spots but overall the body looks really nice and the back of the neck as well. The frets do show some wear and they seem to be a low profile fret. The guitar plays well enough and the action is good…the dime is sitting at the 12th fret on the pic. A couple of the tuners seem hard to turn but no signs of damage or bent shafts. I'm assuming that's the music store that originally sold this violin. The stamped envelope is a 1902 Ben Franklin 1 cent stamp. Very nice condition. No splits or cracks. Missing the Bridge and the Sound Post is loose and needs to be reset. Where the fingerboard extends over the body. There's an area that isn't finished. Pictured. Overall the finish looks great and the pictures show the condition well. The Bow pictured and included came with this violin. A standard Hard-Shell Case. In good condition is included. 1920's-30's Stella Oscar Schmidt Parlor Guitar for Restoration/Repair
1920's or 30's Stella parlor guitar made by Oscar Schmidt for restoration. Guitar needs some restoration on bridge or new bridge and new pins to be a player. 1 crack near the middle back seam that is fairly tight and would not effect the play and tone but could be cleated if need be. Top has a tiny amount of relief above bridge and is quite common among old Stella's but not bad at all. Neck is about as straight as they come for the age and with a very nice V shape. Guitar was played a lot from looking at fret board so there is a great chance that it will be a very good player with some minor restoration. All braces are intact with no rattles. End pin has chips, over all a nice project. Finish is all original and worn in as pictures show. Please ask all questions before bidding and buyer pays all shipping and insurance. $0.99 Start No Reserve! Here we have two mechanically complete Bogen/ Lear Siegler Inc. CHB 100 Watt 7868 Tube PA Amplifiers. Pictures 2 through 6 show Model CHB 100. Series J-85. The amp without the cabinet) The four 7868 tubes are Sherwood made in the USA. The 6C4 has no lettering left but I suspect it is a USA tube. The 12AX7 is a Ratheon International made in Japan. The 6EU7 appears to be a Sherwood USA tube by the color of whats left for lettering. NO tube shields are with this one. All the lettering on the chassis is intact and the chassis is pretty good with minimal rust. Pitting and oxidation. There is some) All knobs are present but two are missing number rings. Underneath the amp appears pretty much un-molested. I powered this amp up slowly on a Variac. I had to wiggle 3- 7868 tubes and the 6EU7 tube in the sockets to get them to ... moremake contact and warm up. All tubes did warm up and glow. There was NO Smoke. NO Buzzing and NO burnt smells. No further testing was done. Surely has potential) Pictures 8 through 11 show the amp with the cabinet. No feet are on the cabinet) Model CHB 100. Theres a 53-5353-01 on the label. No series# 3 of the 7868 tubes are Sylvania gold pin USA tubes. The other 7868 has no dimple on top, no lettering left but 7868& USA are etched in the glass. The 6C4 and the 12AX7 are both Realistic Lifetime gold pin made in Japan. The 6EU7 is Sylvania made in USA. This amp has the tube shields with the 12AX7& the 6EU7 tubes. The power cord HAS BEEN shortened& spliced with a different end. This one has labels instead of the lettering screened on the chassis. The labels are 100% intact. Just bubbling up over 2 rivets and peeling in one small place near the power transformer. The chassis has oxidation and there is a few 1/2 dollar sized rusty spots. Would clean up pretty good. Underneath this one looks pretty much un-molested with the exeption of a couple re-solder joints& one newer style cap. I powered up this amp slowly with the Variac. All tubes were making contact. Vintage Bowes Advertising Tire Repair Metal Cabinet! It is in rough condition and needs for you to restore it and work on it to make it look like it did when it was new. If you want it like it is then that is your decision but I just want you to be aware it is in rough condition. You could also purchase it just for parts to restore another one just like it. This one has its 2 of its drawers that most of them do not have. These cabinets almost in mint condition are pricey. Just in good condition missing the drawers people are asking around $200 and Bowes advertising displays similar to this actually sold for over $200. We are not even thinking close to that amount because we know this item is not in that great of condition but we still feel it has some use to someone and should not end up in the dump somewhere. A week or two ago I bought a double case with two violins in it on ebay. I wanted the double case and one of the two violins which was a Hornsteiner.This is the other violin that was in that double case.This fullsize violin has a Label that is very hard to read that says Nicolaus Amati in Cremona 1634. The date is only readable if you apply a drop of alcohol on it. The violin is very playable at this time. It has a few repaired cracks on the front but none near the soundpost area. It looks like a possible old repair at the button area. I already have a really nice Amati and I have been ordered by my wife to cut the size of my collection in half. Three Fullsize Violins for Parts or Possible Repair or Restoration projects
These there violin bodies are being sold as parts violins although I have been told that almost any violin is restorable. The top violin in photo# 1 measures just over 23" and is not labeled.It is not really old but it has no cracks and it has a beautiful flamed back. The middle violin in photo#1 is stamped HOPF on the one-piece back and seems to be crack free as well. It is old and not a high-end violin. The bottom violin in photo#3 has many cracks in the front.Most have been repaired as I can see lots of cleats with my dental mirror. It looks like a new basebar has been installed as well. This violin has a paper label inside that reads Gia. Bapt. Grancino in Contrada Largha di Milano anno 1699. The violin is really thick in the belly and it is very light but the top plate has many repairs and the violin may only be good for parts.The ... morepegholes have not been bushed and the neck is not grafted so it is possible that the neck has been replaced or the label is not accurate.The middle and bottom violins are both about 23 1/2" All are being sold as is for parts with no refunds or returns so please ask questions before bidding. Great condition 24-inch iMac! Cosmetically. I'm auctioning my iMac for parts. Repair and or restoration, which I have owned since new because it finally started to fail then went kaput*^p Problem- initially the display started to fail. Now. I don't know exactly what went wrong, it could be anything, but I think the problem is either with the motherboard or video card, or even the monitor, but I'm not sure. When it started to fail, I noticed that in full screen the computer would run hot, processor would go bonkers and max out making full screen YouTube stutter until I exited fullscreen, t hen things would be back to normal. But the problem got worse even when using a utility to max out all the fans. After that. Things started to get worse, when I restarted I'd get a black screen until I would let the iMac cool off, I'd ... moreunplug it for a few minutes and force restart it and it would be fine. Then it would take longer. Like an hour, then several hours. Then it wouldn't restart, and the optical drive would just make a loading sound over and over again. Then I would remove a memory chip and it would restart, and then the monitor would be okay, but couldn't put the other 2GB RAM chip because it wouldn't restart. Then after a few tries, it accepted both memory chips and started up fine. Odd stuff like that. I cleaned it out and made sure everything was okay. It was very dusty so maybe that caused something to burn out. Which goes to show you, you can air can the vents but with these beauties you need to open them and air clean them out! Anyways, then the iMac monitor went haywire as you can see in the photo with a crazy boxy pattern and that was it. Done. Fried. The good side to all this is that the optical drive worked great. The hard drive also worked great but is NOT included, no issues, I was running Snow Leopard and it ran great even when the computer cooled off or started to kind of work. Its got lots of parts. But I can't guarantee any of them and the iMac is being auctioned in

Vintage 1970's Gibson SG Guitar *Luthier/Project Guitar for Repair/Restoration*
Up for auction is a vintage Gibson SG Special guitar from the 1970's. The good- the guitar is all original without any modifications and has just a few bumps and bruises on the body from the past 30+ years. The bad- the neck has a slight counter clockwise twist that will need to be repaired. A portion of the pickguard had cracked and been reglued together by a former owner. Also. Part of the finish where the fingerboard meets the neck has separated due to the twist. The guitar does not have a nut. The truss rod is functional. Original shielding is still in the control cavity. The original pickup routing is for mini-humbuckers. Please see the pictures below. Interesting Germanic Violin labeled"Martin Hornstainer Laut- und Geigenmacher in Mittenwald. 1765" This violin came to us from a former violin player who wished for it to go to a good home. Proceeds will be donated to a local musical non-profit organization. This hand-made violin has a one piece top with broad grain on the bass side narrowing to fine grain on the treble side. The one piece maple back is of plain maple with matching ribs. The scroll appears to be of different maple with slightly more figure than that of the back and sides. It is completely hand made and has full blocks and inlaid purfle. This is an as-is auction. Violin is in need of repair and set-up and cannot be played as it is now. Vintage Short Scale Banjo - For repair / Restoration / Parts - Vega?
Vintage Banjo for Repair/ Restoration. I'm not sure about the make. It does have the star on the headstock like some older Vega's I have had in the past. It is small. Perhaps a Little Wonder model. It was well made with very good quality materials. The body is birds eye maple and has better quality J-Hooks and hook anchors. The neck is 2 piece maple with a strip of walnut down the center. It looks like a walnut top cap on the neck heel and on the face of the head stock as well. It is missing 5 J-hooks, the bridge, the tone bar clamp support and the top is torn. The tone bar is stamped 310 1/2 and the body is stamped 21.but no other markings I can see. The string tail piece is marked Elite and dated May 2 1899.
