Vintage Ceramic Porcelain Burgundy Door Handle Knob w Bee & Gold Design Trim
You are bidding on Vintage/Antique Ceramic Porcelain Burgundy Handle Doorknob decorated with a White Center and a Bee trimmed with a Gold Design. The handle measures almost 3" out to the bend and about 1 1/2" from the bend out. I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks on the handle. I am not sure where it is from but it is really cool. It is an old used handle and is not perfect. This would be a great addition to anyone's collection or to use somewhere. Here is a group or lot of 5 pieces which I think are cast iron or metal of some kind covered with either porcelain or some kind of ceramic. I believe these to be antique and actually I think they came out of a local bank. Furniture or pieces which has oak legs and then these would kind of protect the bottom of the legs in some way. These have rust, bare spots, dusty, and could be cleaned up a bit better. There are two which are 3 1/4 X 1 3/4 X 3 inches high. Bit of a chip around the top of one but plenty of wear on both. Then there are 3 that are more of square than rectangle. These are about 1 7/8 X 1 7/8 X 3 inches high. These have some bare spots and scratches and one of them looks like there was grinder or wire brush used on one side to get screw off must have had trouble getting it to let go. These have some wear and tear but maybe someone ... morekind find a creative use for these. I would guess that these weigh up close to 6 pounds. Thanks for looking. They're showing signs of wear with surface rust/discoloration/dings/bent areas in the metal and 1 wheel does have a chip in it they could use cleaned up but all the wheels rotate freely. It also has a 5 stamped on it. It can swivel around and also slightly side to side. There are some small chips around the edge of the wheels. The wheels are 1-3/4" in dia. From the bottom of the wheels to the round flat surface is 2-3/4" The round pole is 1-1/2" long and 5/8" dia. Everything moves freely. Great collectors item. The other 16 have plastic wheels.
