3 Vintage legs from small table plant stand mid century phone stand NICE SET
I have for sale these three legs that came from a small table that held the rotor dial telephone of bygone years. Very solidly built with the mounting plate angled at 10 degrees. My little sisters would race to see who got to the phone first and one day turned the table over and ripped one of the legs loose from the top. My Father being the Gentleman he was. Please look at all of the pictures and read the description of the condition well. Th is pair of legs most likely came off of a decorative garden chair. They each measure about 14 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide at the top. You can see in the last 2 photos that they are both broken where they bolted on. They could still possibly be used as they are with a big washer. But should work great with a big washer welded onto the broken area. Aside from that they still look pretty good. No cracks or breaks that I see, and I believe they could still be salvaged into a cool front for a plant stand or garden table. I'm using the postage calculator on this. The base is square with a beveled applied trim and a protruding dowel. The column is 26-5/8 inches tall(not including the dowels) 5-1/2 inches square at the trim on the base and 3-5/8 inches square at the base of the post that tapers to a 2-5/8 inches at the top. There is a 1 inch diameter wood dowel that projects out of the base ½ inch and out the top 1-1/8 inches. The piece is as found with the original stained mahogany finish and no major dings or dents.
