Another one of my estate sale Relics. The hinges are estate fresh. And could use a detailed cleaning. The hinges are cast iron with a brass pin. The hinge on the rights pin is half way out and needs to be pounded back in. I put some water on the right hinge to bring out the details. The hinges would have been door hinges for a very old cabinet. They measure 2 1/2in tall x 3 1/2in wide, opened flat. These aren't trunk hinges, and would have gone on a door. They are adjusted by loosening a nut and bolt. At their lowest adjustment, they measure 10 1/2" high. At their highest adjustment they measure 15 5/8" high. Here is a pair of original. Antique, supports for the leaves on a drop leaf table. These have been salvaged from a table and are made of cast iron. Probably date from around the turn of the 19th-20th century. Complete except for screws. Light rust and remains of old paint but in great usable condition. The shaft is about 10" long. The two sides of the shaft are pinched together so the shaft can slide through the support bracket to lower the leaf.

I have up for sale a neat matching pair of vintage Cast Iron with Fired On Porcelain legs. I believe that they originally came off of an old sink. As they were purchased from an older gent that ran a plumbing store and along the way salvaged old plumbing related items. The legs are the type in which the sink would fit into the back section of the leg. Not sit directly on top. View pic#4 and you will see what I mean by this. The legs measure approx 26" tall and weigh approx 10 lbs apiece. Both are in very good to excellent condition- One leg has a small chip to the porcelain near the bottom of the leg- shown in the last pic. Overall they are in excellent shape for their age.
