ornate claw footed feet set for antique chair carved design
This is an old set of beautiful wing backed chair legs. The back two legs are plain but the front legs are beautiful claw feet with ornate carved design on upper portion and very neat looking claws around a ball design on bottom. These are two toned stained and the finish is worn. These could be stripped and restained to one's liking. Please view the photos carefully and email me with any questions you may have. The front legs measure 8& 1/2" tall not including the 1& 1/2" screw. The back feet measure 7& 1/2" tall and these have slide in rods that are almost 2" long. They all have bottom things that are carved that the actual feet stand on.to protect the legs. I will try and add some new pictures of the bottom feet and top areas where they attach to a chair. Antique Hand Carved Oak Wood Cabinet Door Ornate Thistle Arch Pattern Victorian Description: Up for sale is this estate rescued old door. It looks to be a door off of a cabinet of some kind. It measures 24 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 2" including the knob) As you can see from the photos this cabinet is carved by hand. The carving is rough and irregular but still beautiful in its intricacy! The pattern looks like it depicts a thistle plant inside of an arched design. You can also see that there are a couple of pieces missing from the design including one of the oval shaped designs in the top left and possibly two rectangle shaped pieces at the top of the columns below the arch. The knob also looks to have been hand carved. This door still has the original hinges which are rusted in place. The back of the door looks as though it had 2 cross ... morepieces which have been removed. The door does have some cracks developing in the bottom as you can see in the photos. Antique ORNATE Carved BURLED Wood VICTORIAN PEDIMENT Secretary Door Hall Tree
Up for auction is this fabulous antique Victorian carved wood arched pediment being offered"as is as found" It is in wonderful condition, though some of the burled veneer is lifting and there is one spot on the top edge of the moulding where it meets the center piece that is chipped(as seen in photo 7) It is very ornately carved with exquisite details. The 2 drop turned finials on either side of the center medallion are intact. Not sure of the wood, it is thick and solid somewhat speckled with darker spots. Exhibits superb craftsmanship. Beautifully curved multi-layer moulding. The underneath has one dowel on the bottom and 2 holes on the other side where it sat on the original piece of furniture which is long gone. This would be wonderful on a secretary, hall tree or even above a doorway. There are different layers giving it greath ... moredepth and interest. Measures along the bottom edge underneath 33 3/8 inches long, 1 inch thick and with the moulding at the sides about 2 1/2 inches thick; it is 16 1/4 inches in total height, the first lower arch is 2 5/8 inches thick, the total depth it would stick out if against a wall would be 5 5/8 inches. 4 Ornate Vintage Antique Carved Wood Furniture Legs Salvage Restoration
This is all that could be salvaged off of two vintage wingback chairs. Which I thought were identical until I started to take pictures, and realized the design and size were slightly different, still a great set of ornate ball and claw legs. I have no idea what this originally was used for(now it was used as a wall decoration) But there are a few issues with this piece. The center part of this piece is missing and both sides have been broken off and are missing(see photos) It was origianlly 11 1/2" round x 4 3/4" high. Now about 1 1/2" is missing on each side. Offered is a Gorgeous 1800’s Victorian Mahogany table base with original patina and finish. This stunning base has original wood and metal casters/wheels. The legs are solid Mahogany wood where as the body has a Mahogany veneer wood. The piece is in great condition but on one side of the body there is a very slight buckle in the veneer very hard to see and can be remedied please notice photos. It weighs a solid 20 pounds and measures 36” across from toe to toe x 12” high x 11.1/4” wide. This flat base would allow for a planter pot bowl or to reconstruct as a table. Vintage Antique Sewing Machine Drawers Flowers Carved Lot of 7 Ornate
Here are 7 Antique sewing machine Drawers. There are 6 of the side drawers 3 for the left. Three for the right. And there is one middle drawer. The middle drawer has green felt that is worn still hanging on to remnants of thread. It measures approx. 19 3/4 across the front not including the side piece. The side piece seems to be missing on the left side. see pics) The two side wood pieces that slide into the machine cabinet are approx 10 3/4 inches long. The drawer is approx. 2 1/2 inches high. The side drawers measure approx. 14 1/4 inch long. Just over 4 1/2 inches wide and approx. 3 3/4 inches high. each of the drawers have a raised pattern on them that look like Heather and a Genie lamp to me. It appears to be veneer as there is an inner seam on all of the drawers see pics. Each of the drawers has a metal slide bar on them.
