Vintage hairpin legs 12" set 4 table chair Eames metal midcentury modern atomic
Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair. Here is what I know about these legs: They are N ew I n B ox(NIB) and N ew O ld S tock(NOS) See Pictures: 1. 6, 7, 8& 9 They are made of molded black plastic and they are 7" tall. 1-1/2" wide and tapers down to 3/4" with a 1-1/4" base. See Pictures: 1, 2,3, 4, 10, 11& 12. The name Delwood Molded Legs was trademarked in February of 1961 The legs have been sitting on a back shelf of a furniture manufacturer located in Hickory. NC for so long the owner told me that"I ... morecan not remember when they were not here" He speculates that his father originally purchased them some time in the 60's The box has been exposed to water at some point of it's life. I opened the box from the top and from the bottom and found only minor tarnishing issues on some of the brass plated ends. I think they look great considering their age. See Pictures: 1. 6, 7, 8& 9. vintage MID CENTURY MODERN TULIP TABLE BASE STAND EAMES KNOLL BURKE SAARINEN LEG

This little base might be off of a chair. But it's a good height for a coffee table or end table. It's made of steel and measures about 14 1/4" tall and 16 1/4" across. Anything from a wooden barrel top or cable spool end would make a cool top. Or a nice wooden top salvaged off of another table would work as well. Or for that matter a nice little stool top. Or fiberglass seat would work nicely too. It has paint wear. Discoloration, etc, but is very sturdy. I'm using the postage calculator on this. And sometimes it charges too much for postage. Set of 4 VINTAGE 1950s Eames Era Mid Century Modern Iron 28" HAIRPIN Table Legs
Fantastic set of FOUR VINTAGE 1950's era MCM Mid Century Modern HAIRPIN Table Legs in PRISTINE condition! These were salvaged from a severely water damaged table and have been restored to ABSOLUTE perfection. The original paint was flaking off and they had some EXTREMELY LIGHT surface rust which was lightly sandblasted off but there is ABSOLUTELY NO PITTING to the metal! They were originally installed with the top ends stuck into holes in a metal frame under the wood top. The frame was too far gone to save but without it. There was no way to reuse the legs as they were, so I welded small corner brackets on the tops so they could be attached to any flat material you want. The brackets are as thin as a dime and the screws will be to the inside of the leg so you can install them as close as 1" from the edge of the material. Everything ... morewas then sprayed with two coats of automotive grade sealing primer and then THREE top coats of automotive grade enamel in SATIN BLACK. These have never looked so good and will certainly stand out on your next project! Most furniture makers would use modern Square Drive or Phiips Head screws to attach them to the wood, but I can include FOR FREE 16 VINTAGE Slotted(Flat) Head wood screws(painted to match) if you need them. Made of 3/8" diameter steel. Each measures 28" long. The 5/8" wide angle bracket is 4" X 4" The spread of the legs at the top is 5-3/4" wide and they taper to approx 1-1/4" wide at the bottom just above the bend. Auction is for a matched set of 4 wooden table legs-Style is Danish Modern/ Mid-Century Modern; top edge tapers to a thin section at the bottom-Solid wood– appears to be oak– with brass caps on the ends and brass swivel feet/pads-Overall good condition. The brass parts have some discoloration– could be cleaned/polished. Wood parts have a natural dark finish and could use some rejuvenation. All have a threaded rod extending from the top for attachment-Length is 18” not including the threaded rod. Vtg Heavy Steel Hairpin Legs Set/4 16" Mid-Century Modern Table Original Eames
From a local estate. Here is a set of four original Eames-era hairpin legs. Just pulled these off of a rough old coffee table, the legs are 16" long, heavy-gauge 3/8" solid steel. These were painted black, there is some paint loss and a little surface rust, they will clean up just fine.
