Victorian Era Cottage Style Mirror Frame and Mirror Harps
Original hand painted Victorian Cottage dresser mirror and mirror harps. These are great pieces and still retain their original hand painting. This can be used as replacement for a Cottage style Dresser. Or the harps used as some great sign holder arms. One of the harps is missing a tip on one end and has an old crack that has been replaces, but all is strong and ready for another 110-years of service. I don't know, it is exactly as found. it is heavy thick wood with raised ornate embellishments depicting an urn filled with flowers and reticulated swags with more floral motif.a few cracks, adds charm, NEEDS a cleaning, I haven't done that at all. Antique Oak Tall Boy Dresser Parts: Mirror Frame and Mounts w/ hardware
Oak Dresser parts for a tall boy dresser. Mirror needs replacing. I usually buy and older one and have it cut down. the mirror opening measures 12 by 20.the frame measures 14 by 22 inches. The mounts are 1 1/2 inches thick by 18 1/2 tall and are slightly tapered. The frame is raw and the oak has darkened.The metal mounts are in place for the mirror. The two mounts attach to the dresser back by wood screws. I can include some real rusty wood screws for the original look needed. The mirror frame needs regluing on one corner. NOTE: I found a third piece. This is a very nice antique empire period Ogee style mirror frame. It retains it's original back, it would need a piece of mirror glass. It measures aprox. 22 3/4" x 31 3/4" and the opening on front is 12" x 21" It is made of a mahogany veneer over pine and is very well made, you can see where corner braces were cut into the corners on the back. Early Victorian walnut hall tree/mirror frame architectural element. Frame sat atop hall tree bench that has long since vanished into history. Only this fragment of the original piece remains. Most likely dates from the 1850s- 1870s. Frame is machine cut walnut and is in sturdy shape. Missing pieces on top and sides. With wear on bottom edge, holes from missing hooks- and neat working secret pocket doors. Interesting architectural fragment to use to frame a mirror or use your imagination on. Antique FRENCH Gilded ORNAMENT ROSE GARLAND for FRAME, MIRROR, CANOPY, PEDIMENT
G orgeous French bronze ornment in the shape of a glorious rose garland dripping in the center. The cabbage roses are highly raised and deliciously timeworn. The colour has muted to a sumptuous old gold and the shape is a bit twisted to fit a slightly rounded base or piece of furniture. Anyway. It is not totally"flat" Dimensions: 17" between the two ends of the garland. It drips aound 7" down at the center, the rose and daisy swag is about 2" W One end has a ring. The other end was probably inserted into the wall or something or maybe is missing, it seems to have been once welded. I left it like I found it. Ready for a little DIY! Antique Oak Salvaged Dresser Mirror Frame 27" x 21" ~ a salvaged solid oak swivel dresser mirror frame outside measurements are 27" by 21" not including that top flat piece which measures 28-1/2" long 1-5/8" wide and 1/4" thick inside measurements are 24" by 18" ~ a solid and sturdy piece finish could use a little clean-up else.
