Hello and welcome Mid Century Modern Coffee Table Eames Era For sale is this really cooool Mid Century Coffee Table in the Heywood style. We found this at an local estate sale and the owner said that her father had made this table. The coffee table has the hard to find hairpin metal legs. The top is made with a heavy.thick piece of wood that has been covered with a blonde champagne/wheat color formica. There is some normal nicks and slight oxidation on the metal legs.but the legs are in great shape for their age and use. The formica table top also has scratches and chips to the surface top. This is a wonderful vintage coffee table and looks great in any decor.We can ship the whole coffee table or just the legs.it's up to you. A nice set of 4 iron hairpin legs that were salvaged from an old teak table. They are all iron and measure 29 inches. These are top quality legs with predrilled holes for attachment to your table. The welding is tight and well done and the legs are sturdy. All are flat black great for the mid-century. Eames, atomic era look. Hard to find ones that are the full 29 inches. Set of 4 Retro Mid Century Modern Black Wrought Iron Hairpin Legs 28-1/2 Inches These 4 legs were salvaged from an old local wood shop. The“L” base of the legs are made from 3/16” thick steel and measures 6 inches long x 1/2 inch wide and are predrilled for mounting screws(screws not included) Wrought Iron legs are 28-1/2 inches long with a 10 degree angle x 1/2 inch diameter round and weld joints are strong. Each weighs 3lb-10oz. Some scratches and rust but overall in good condition for age. Refer to pictures for overall condition. These will add a retro-modern look to any table. 4 Mid Century Modern Metal Hairpin Legs Coffee Table 13" 1950s
This is 4 hairpin legs off a piece of mid century furniture. They have holes at the top for screws. These have been painted black at some point. And HAVE PAINT CHIPS. They were originally gold and you can see that so these will need to be repainted. These are really sturdy. I don't know if there was another piece at the top since these are 13" Maybe a block of wood they were screwed into or another metal piece to make the usual 16" leg. They also look like they will tilt out some when screwed in because of the angle of the top part. SOLD AS IS! Set of 4 VINTAGE 1950s Eames Era Mid Century Modern Iron 28" HAIRPIN Table Legs
Fantastic set of FOUR VINTAGE 1950's era MCM Mid Century Modern HAIRPIN Table Legs in PRISTINE condition! These were salvaged from a severely water damaged table and have been restored to ABSOLUTE perfection. The original paint was flaking off and they had some EXTREMELY LIGHT surface rust which was lightly sandblasted off but there is ABSOLUTELY NO PITTING to the metal! They were originally installed with the top ends stuck into holes in a metal frame under the wood top. The frame was too far gone to save but without it. There was no way to reuse the legs as they were, so I welded small corner brackets on the tops so they could be attached to any flat material you want. The brackets are as thin as a dime and the screws will be to the inside of the leg so you can install them as close as 1" from the edge of the material. Everything ... morewas then sprayed with two coats of automotive grade sealing primer and then THREE top coats of automotive grade enamel in SATIN BLACK. These have never looked so good and will certainly stand out on your next project! Most furniture makers would use modern Square Drive or Phiips Head screws to attach them to the wood, but I can include FOR FREE 16 VINTAGE Slotted(Flat) Head wood screws(painted to match) if you need them. Made of 3/8" diameter steel. Each measures 28" long. The 5/8" wide angle bracket is 4" X 4" The spread of the legs at the top is 5-3/4" wide and they taper to approx 1-1/4" wide at the bottom just above the bend. From a local estate. Here is a set of four original Eames-era hairpin legs. Just pulled these off of a rough old coffee table, the legs are 16" long, heavy-gauge 3/8" solid steel. These were painted black, there is some paint loss and a little surface rust, they will clean up just fine. 4 Vintage Mid Century Modern Hairpin Table Legs. Solid metal not hollow. Heavy duty. 29 1/2 inches tall. The base from point to point is 7 inches and 5 inches. Mounting base is slightly angled so the legs will angle out instead of straight up and down. Some surface rust. One leg is missing the bottom cover. Sorry about the snow in the pictures.
