Here are four legs from an 1870's-1890's couch that had seen better days. In fact these were the best part of it. They do need some help finish wise and the dowels need help also. EXTRA LARGE VICTORIAN FLUTED SOLID MAHOGANY PEDESTAL DINING TABLE BASE W/ LEGS
This is a very nice antique Victorian pedestal style dining table base. It is solid mahogany and has a fluted pedestal. It is stamped with the number 100 on the bottom. It originally had a 50" top, it measures 25" high, it is designed to have castors which would add some height, measuring across the center of any two legs it is 26 1/2" and the top brackets are 14 1/2" wide x 12" deep, the legs are 2 3/4" wide. Some of the hardware on the top is missing as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, some scuffs, nicks and dings to the legs which you can see, no splits or cracks to the pedestal or feet and no repairs. Duncan Phyfe Style Wooden Pedestal with 4 Legs for a Stool or Small Table
For your consideration is a vintage pedestal for a stool or small table; the way my camera flash in picture No. 9. I am thinking it is probably to a stool for a piano or organ. Each leg has five grooves in it that run the entre distance of the leg. It was very dirty when I purchased it. I cleaned and cleaned and could not see enough of the wood to determine what kind of wood it is made of, I finally used a small amount of varnish remover on it(I was amazed at how easily the thick varnish came off) and determined it was pine. It is 14 3/8" tall. Measuring from the furthest outside point of a leg to the furthest outside point of the opposite leg is 17 1/2" It is much less than perfect; it is old and has been used. That being said: Other than the crack; the wood is solid and would cleanup nicely. It does need refinished. Starting at ... morethe top and running down the side for 2 1/2" is a crack. I am back from a monster shopping trip to the World’s Longest Yard Sale– we shop Ohio every year and then stop at some of my favorite spots in Indiana to buy from. Spent 2 whole days taking photos and still not done– I have a LOT and I’ll be listing for weeks. There’s something for everyone- primitive antiques, ephemera, military, railroad, industrial, farm finds– you name it, I have it and it’s all unique– you’ll want to keep checking, as I will list every day. Enjoy! When I first saw the shape of these from afar. I thought that they were shutter holders- just from the shape, but when I got up closer, I saw that they actually have a flat end with two screw mounting holes, as well as a hole in the center that does not go all the way through to the other ... moreside, but clearly was used for mounting into? At only 11 3/8" tall each, I'm not quite sure what they were used for- a table, a stool, a pedestal? They will be yours to decide! They are made from heavy iron- 1 3/4 lbs each, and they cleary have a top(where the flat screw mounting part is) and a bottom(the big curl with the ball shape- they have the most amount of rust there too) I put them sideways for my first photos so that you can see their shape, and showed how they'd look as legs from photo 11 on. With the screw hole in the middle, they are made so that the curly cue with the ball on each faces out, so that the screw hole faces in. The screw mount part measures 2" by 7/8" oval and the screw holes are 1 1/4' apart measuring on the inside. They are 1 7/8" wide at the center of the leg and 2 1/2" deep at the bottoms- measuring from the outside of the foot to the inside of the leg. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally. There's wear to the black finish, and you can see spots of surface rust in those wear spots- especially at the mounting spots and the bottom of the feet. It's surface only, that's all. Ther

VIntage Mid Century Pedestal Coffee Side Table Legs Base Metal Swivel
The potential here is endless! I salvaged this swivel leg base from a large formica coffee table. Not sure of the origins of this. But I think it had been repurposed to make that table. The mounting plate has a bend in on one side.the table I took this from had a piece of plywood to shim the other side to the correct height for a level table. I will include that piece of plywood and the mounting screws. The table was also bolted so that it wouldn't swivel. You can put that bolt back in and keep it from swiveling if you desire. Was salvaged from a table where the table top did not survive. It appears that the wood has been painted by the color of the original wood on the top. Height of the pedestal is 26" and the width of the legs are 30" Please note I will be dis-assembling the legs from the pedestal for shipping and all hardware will come with it. Vintage Pair Mid Century Modern End Side Accent Table Base Pedestal Legs
You are bidding on a great pair of pedestal table bases. These are all metal. And stand 20-3/4" tall, are 16-1/2 wide at the base. The round mounting plate is 6-1/2" in diameter& the four mounting holes are 2-1/2" on-center. There is some chipping of the paint on the bases(see pics) These will be shipped broken down into pieces and will need to be re-assembled by the buyer(which is simple and requires no tools) PayPal only please.
