Vintage Steel OR Iron Bed Rails with steel side buttons made from the 1930s to around 1950. These are used with metal bed frames. Work in most all of the bed frames that accept side button drop in ends. These are the original color brown. Nice shape Dimensions: Each rail is 75.5" long and the actual"L"s of the rails have sides that are 2" high and bottoms that are 1.75" wide. Pins are button shaped on the outsides and about 3/4" in diameter and they slide into 1/2" or larger slots. CONDITION: Good Used Condition! This is a vintage adjustable steel base with cross stretcher. It measures aprox. 21" wide. 19 1/2" wide at the top x 13" deep at the feet and adjusts in height from 14 1/2" to 21" the brackets at the top are 4" and splay or taper out to 7 1/2" There is a rod inside the cross stretcher and you adjust the height by turning one of the nuts on the side, there is a cog or gear mechanism connected to the rod. It has been painted at some point as you can see and is in good condition. We have someother similar bases presently listed as well. Adjustable Heywood Eclipse cast iron/stamped steel base pedestal table chair leg
This pedestal has a cast iron base. And a stamped steel top. It adjusts from 10- 1/2" to 16- 1/2" in height. It is 8- 7/8" across the bottom and the top is about 7" square. Some of the original black finish remains, but there is also some rust. It is marked"Heywood" on one side and"Eclipse" on the other. Also, there is a"3" There are 5 counter sunk holes around the perimeter of the base and 4 in the top. It has no breaks or repairs, but it also does not sit flat(see further description) The height is adjusted by loosening the 7/8" hex head bolt on the upper part of the cast iron base. Moving the top piece, and then re-tightening the bolt. This pedestal was designed to be screwed to the floor. When it is screwed fast. The screws prevent it from wobbling. When it is not screwed down, it ... moredoes not sit flat, so it will need to be affixed to something flat(like a board) or have adjustable feet added(threaded chair glides and some nuts would work) or be shimmed(layers of felt, glued together to accommodate the varying distance between the base's rim and the floor) etc. If you have any questions. Vintage heavy metal table base. Made of wrought iron or steel. Painted off-white. It measures 26" tall and the feet are 26" by 26" wide. Weighs almost 33 lbs without a top. It has an opening in the middle that will hold an umbrella with pole up to 1 1/8" diameter. The paint is chippy.it needs to be cleaned and there are rust stains. It looks like there may be rust and lumps under the white paint from having been repainted. There are no broken or missing parts. Each wheel measures 1 1/2" in diameter. They turn freely but one wheel has a flat side. 2 casters have wooden wheels measuring 3 1/4" from top to bottom of wheel. This old cast iron base has a cool industrial look. It's actually an old cream separator base, but would work great as a decor piece or a machine stand. It weighs around 40 lbs unpacked and measures about 17 1/4" tall. 15" by 20" at the bottom, and 5" by 7" at the top. It has a bolt in the center of the top that has been cut off. The bolt head is underneath, you might be able to get it out, if not a top could still be mounted using the bigger holes. It has aging and wear. Some surface rust etc, but is awfully cool! Antique Cast Iron & Steel Gear On A Stand -Industrial Decor-
Very unusual old industrial item. It is a 6.5" steel gear with a sliding bracket mount that has been welded to a small cast iron stand. It makes for a great display piece or start to an industrial lighting project. The whole thing is very heavy. It probably weighs close to 25lbs. There is a mounting hole on the bottom of the base and the gear can slide forward and back on the support bar by loosening a nut. It stands about 10" tall and about 8" at the widest point.
