Nice pair of heavy industrial casters. The wheel. Bracket and pin are made of brass and the mounting plate is cast iron. The connecting pin from the top of the brass bracket to the top of the iron insert appears to be steel.Great overall condition with no cracks or breaks, both wheels turn freely. This is a set or pair of iron bed rails typically used on antique iron beds. They measure 73 1/4" long from tip to tip and 72 1/4" long not counting the pins and have tapered pins which are 7/8" across at the top. We provided pictures that show the measurements using a tape measure. There is some obvious paint loss which is typical but otherwise are fine. We also have some other bed rails presently listed in our store. It is available for pick up or can be shipped by Fed Ex ground for 28.80 including insurance to the lower 48 states. Set of 4 Victorian 1851 Goodyear Brass Iron and Wood Wheels Furniture Casters
We have here a Set of 4 Victorian 1851 Casters. The wheel appears to be wood. But being made by Goodyear, they could be rubber. Its hard to tell, and I do not want to scratch it to make sure. They measure 3" tall. Wheels have 1" diameter. Iron peg is 1 3/8" tall. Peg is 1/4" wide. 5/8" between the three screw holes, center to center. All the tires say Goodyear 1851. LR Combs Co. On the iron top it says Pat May 20'73. 1873! The base is brass. The top is iron. Has 3 screw holes. All wheels are smooth and the iron top rotates smoothly. These were off an old victorian desk! Perfect for refinishing a piece with a great pair of period casters! One wheel. On the 3 screw holes, one of the holes has a split. I think they pierced it to close the edge. Its definitely has a split, but appears to be connected, like they pulled ... moreit out and it broke, but it was still hot and came back together! They are worn. Porcelain Ball Finials,Set of 4 Matching,Great for Cast Iron or Brass Beds
These 4 porcelain balls can be used to top the posts on brass or cast iron beds. You will need your own hardware for your cast iron or brass bed. Each opening is about 11/16" in diameter. Each ball is about 3 5/16" across and about 2.25" high. I am not willing to sell separately. The color is an off white with a reproduction design that makes them look heavily crazed. But they are not. The flowers are designed so that it does not matter which end of the ball is up or down. All my photos were taken with a flash, so the balls appear a little whiter than they are. Up for auction is a set of 4 cast iron brass piano stool. Bench table legs ball feet with carved claw talon, all in great shape with no loss of cast iron the round glass ball are a little flat on the side that sits on the floor this is normal and the glass balls are full of bubbles measuring about 4" tall 2" x 2" the opening is 7/8" x 7/8" that slides over the legs. FIVE ANTIQUE CAST IRON/BRASS CLAW FEET GLASS BALLS -FEATHERED DESIGN & TALONS
Offered here are five antique cast iron talon claw feet measuring just under 4" long and in excellent condition with the exception of a small chip between one of the talons near the top with does not affect the appearance or functionality of the piece. Each has a hole for fastening to a furniture leg. And there are bubbles in the old glass. Four of these legs have a feathered pattern and old brass finish, and the fourth has a slightly different pattern with a slightly silvery finish. Each wheel measures 1 1/8" in diameter. These are the short stem variety. One of the stems is flattened a little which created an edge on the end that has kept the original washer on, see photos. Otherwise they are in good, working condition and roll easily. There is some wear to the finish and minor rust. Vintage Lot Gold Metal Brass Cast Iron Furniture Table Large Feet Casters Parts
Lot of vintage. Used, old, metal, brass, cast iron, furniture, table, large feet, hardware, casters, possibly antique, for parts or repair only. These items show overall wear including scratches. Scuff marks, discoloration found throughout, heavy tarnishing found to the brass, heavy surface rust found to the metal, one of the legs is missing its bottom caster, two of the legs are missing their front brass plates, two are missing their upper brass columns, and one of the legs is missing its outer body completely and is just the top hardware, shaft, and caster.
