Antique Vintage Iron / Steel BROWN Metal Bed Rail Set Drop in Side Button PAIR
Vintage Steel OR Iron Bed Rails with steel side buttons made from the 1930s to around 1950. These are used with metal bed frames. Work in most all of the bed frames that accept side button drop in ends. These are the original color brown. Nice shape Dimensions: Each rail is 75.5" long and the actual"L"s of the rails have sides that are 2" high and bottoms that are 1.75" wide. Pins are button shaped on the outsides and about 3/4" in diameter and they slide into 1/2" or larger slots. CONDITION: Good Used Condition! These show light SCRATCHES and rubbing but are extremely strong. Buttons are strong and not loose. 1 button is very slightly bent but it still slides in easly

This is a set or pair of iron bed rails typically used on antique iron beds. They measure 73 1/4" long from tip to tip and 72 1/4" long not counting the pins and have tapered pins which are 7/8" across at the top. We provided pictures that show the measurements using a tape measure. There is some obvious paint loss which is typical but otherwise are fine. We also have some other bed rails presently listed in our store. It is available for pick up or can be shipped by Fed Ex ground for 28.80 including insurance to the lower 48 states. Wooden Casters Great set of casters and brackets off of an 1880's Victorian walnut bed. The wheels are two different sizes. The two smaller ones were on the footboard. I don't know if they were smaller to begin with or if they got worn down. Brackets are cast iron, the screws do not all match but are the ones that were in the brackets. The casters do not"lock" into the brackets, if you lift the piece furniture higher than the stem they will fall out. Dimensions: Two wheels are 2 3/4" diameter and the other two are 2 1/2" diameter. Stems are 3 1/4" long. Brackets are 3 1/2" tall x 2" wide and they protrude 3 1/8" Condition: As removed from the bed. Very dusty. No breaks. Wheel centers do have some wear but nothing to excessive.
