The lamp does work. Light switches on and off. Lamp can adjust and move to many positions. The table has a great older green paint around the tabletop edges. Table sits on a wood base. W/cast iron legs to hold it up. The table top is probably an old formica{ top that is ... moresat on a piece of wood. The top formica piece looks like it could be easily removed as it is already somewhat loose if one wanted to replace it or they could possibly reglue it. It is just a thin layer on a thicker piece of wood. You will see signs of paint loss and scratching to the table top as well as stains and dirt wear, formica top has stains, scratching, tiny holes from other items being attached at one time& and other possibble signs of age and use. Table width is 15 1/2" Length is 42 1/2" height is 40 1/2" from floor to top of table. The table legs are cast iron. They are painted black and you will notice some signs of age. Use and wear w/some scratching, possible paint loss, pitting, dirt that would be normal for a table such as this. This was a work table so please expect signs of use. Age and storage. This is a beautiful turn of the century matched pair of genuine Kenney Wolkins signed thick cast iron table legs. They are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks and the black paint is in good condition with moderate paint loss. They adjust from 17.5" to 24.5" and are all original with large nut screw adjustments. Screws and slides all run smoothly and they lock down nice and tight. The base is 11" wide x 16" deep, the bottom tier is 16 1/2" from the floor and is 9 1/2" in diameter, the upper tier is 29 1/2" from the floor and is 10" wide x 8 1/2" deep. joe calcite INDUSTRIAL OAK& CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS STAND BASE This offering is for a set of cast iron sewing machine legs/ stand. BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE. I've seen the queen anne style legs, with the curve and'shoulder' part of the cast iron. In this case, the cast iron legs come with oak legs with a groove in the back to fit snugly over the iron and screw on from the rear. This gives you the option of using just the iron legs, or dressing them up with oak as your mood and decor dictate. To complete the transformation, I have included the trim pieces from the original upper cabinet so that the oak runs top to bottom. Unfortunately, the lower 5" of one is broken off, but placed on the side facing a wall or sofa, it would go unnoticed by most. Given the unique character, many wouldn't care. There are no cracks or breaks ... morein the iron. The paint was originally brown. But is now heavily worn with some light rust in places. The finish on the oak was dried out and flaking badly, so the rest of the finish was removed with a stiff brush and the exposed faces were clear coated. The wood itself is also worn. The legs measure 16" wide at the top, 13.5" wide at the bottom. Total height is 28" The stretcher is 23" wide, but can be replaced with a heavy threaded rod to place them closer together or further apart. Casters work but have a few flattened spots where its been dragged perpendicular to the wheels. Here we have an awesome antique cast iron table base. This base has a great style to it and is very heavy and sturdy. There are NO chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs but there is some paint damage. This table base is very versatile that would look great in Industrial, Steampunk, Shabby Cottage Chic, Victorian or Goth décor and with the right table top it will last for lifetimes. This table base is about 28 1/2 inches tall and weighs in at about 50 lbs. Here we have a rare pair of antique Machine Age industrial table legs by the Chandler company. I have never seen a pair like these. They are smaller and skinnier then the legs you will find normally making them perfect for a coffee table or a side table. These legs are adjustable up to about 17 1/2 inches tall and as low as about 12 3/4 inches tall. When measuring the feet of these legs from toe to toe these legs are about 8 3/4 inches wide. I gave these legs a quick wipe down with a cloth to remove any loose surface dirt or dust. These adjustable Kenney Bros& Wolkins Boston Mass legs are made of solid cast iron. The height on this set adjusts from 15 ½” at the lowest setting and 20” at the highest setting. The top brackets have a span of 7 6/8” across and each side measures 3 ½” long and is 1 1/8” wide. There are 4 pre-drilled holes in the top brackets. 2 on each side. The bottom has a span of 12” and there are two pre-drilled holes in each ... morefoot. These legs stands on their own. The legs are marked on the front curved leg piece near the bottom with KENNEY BROS& WOLKINS BOSTON MASS and 3L and 3R on the cross bar. Respectively. The top portion of each leg is also marked 3L or 3R, along with No. 7 and lined increments going down with the numbers 6, 5, 4, and 3. The leg that is marked 3L has a manufacturing flaw in the cast iron on the top curved support brace.it is not a crack and is in no danger of coming apart or not holding weight.
