This is a simply beautiful mahogany federal style sofa that probably dates from the 1900s era. In gorgeous condition. It has the big, curved ... moreswooped arms with a big bird’s head that curves around, acanthus carvings on the bottom, acanthus carved wings, rope-braided edge molding on the center of the bottom of the skirt, and great-looking claw foot legs with wings. The back has a rolled pillar back, which is Duncan Phyfe style. It’s rare when empire and Duncan Phyfe style join hands. And a little extra on this particular sofa, it has carved wings off the scrolled rolled back. The choice of upholstery on this sofa is excellent, and is a dark wine-colored fabric that looks mind-blowing against the reddish-brown stain finish. It’s in good shape, and there’s not much wrong with any of it. The seats are foam-filled and very comfortable, which is unusual for a sofa like this, which is usually uncomfortable. This one has removable foam cushions. The overall size is 76 inches wide, 28 inches deep, and 32 inches high on the arms. Scotts Multi Change Hand Garden Tools Handle Cultivator Rotary Hoe Claw 3 Heads
Here is a set of Scotts multi-change garden tools. This includes three heads and a short. 9" handle. There is a claw(cultiweeder) head, a hoe head and a cultivator or rotary hoe head. The handle can be easily switched to any head for a complete hand garden tool. The edge of the hoe is sharp; it has a plastic cover on it. The hoe measures about 5 3/4" wide at the end. With the handle attached, the hoe is about 15 3/4" long. The claw has a metal bar at the top to cut through weeds. The cultivator(rotary hoe) is about 24 3/8" long with handle. These were made in West Germany. Get this nice, hand garden tool set! These are used. They have scratches. Discoloring and wear. The handle has some scuffs and staining. Vintage Hammered Copper/Brass Log Holder, Porcelain Handle Claw Feet, Lion Heads
For sale is a vintage brass and copper log carrier(possibly Pennsylvania House) but not certain. Label is still on the bottom. But printing is worn off. The carrier measures 18" x 12" x 7" with handle folded) The handle is brass with a ceramic holder with blue delft flowers. The sides feature the lion head and the base rests on claw feet. There are two green spots on the bottom(about 1” long) won’t remove with copper cleaner. I have polished this and it shines like a brand new penny. If you prefer the aged look. for sale a very nice mahogany pedestal with great griffin heads( 4 of them) at the top and great claw feet at the bottom. i don't know who made this piece.
