Most of the pieces in this lot were salvaged from a Louis XIV style chest that was destroyed in a house fire with the paired elements measuring 7 ¼” tall x 1 ¼” wide and 6 ¼” x 1 ¾” The bowed skirt element is 2 ½” x 7” wide and the Victorian gilt brass thing-a-ma-jig is 4 ¼” tall x 3 ½” wide. LOT 7 Vintage White Flower Furniture Decoration W/Silver Hardware Parts Salvaged
Up for sale is a LOT of 7 white plastic like(could be bakelite but not sure) flower parts with silver tone hardware/screw backing to decorate or accent furniture or whatever your craft needs desire. These parts come from my stepdad's antiques restoration shop. There are 4 larger pieces and 3 smaller ones. Larger one measures slightly more than 1" in diameter and the smaller one measures a little less than 1" in diameter. Gorgeous antique drawer pulls Circa 1800-1840 These will look great on any antique. The aged patina will make them look like they were there forever These were on a small dresser which was made in England circa 1800-1840. It had hand cut dovetail drawers, hand planed drawer bottoms, it was made mostly of solid cherry*some back plates(2 out of 6)have a small tear/crack in the brass.you hardly notice it when they are mounted and secured with the screws.also the hand wrought posts are jiggly/loose. It does not effect the function, the bail handles lift and swivel just fine These are made entirely from solid cast brass Incredible naturally aged patina. Of course you could be hand buffed to highlight the brass if you wish. They are currently in their natural state with a beautiful 195 year old patina These originally had 4 tiny solid brass screws ... morein the back plate attaching them to the drawer front I will include 5 new solid brass 1/2 inch long screws(includes 1 extra screw) custom aged to match the patina of the pull You will need to drill/chisel a small recess since the hand wrought mounting posts protrudes from the back side of the back plate. That will allow them to lay perfectly flat(see photo of back side of the back plate) I guarantee you will never find anything like this in any retail store. Authentic pulls with a 195 year old patina There is a number stamped into the back plate.it is a bit hard to read but looks like"RB243940" Each pull has a unique patina.
