PIANO 1800-1900? PEDALS CAST IRON CHICKERING ? 2 pedals from a SQUARE GRAND
STands 24.5 inches tall. Verry pretty ornate castiron. After looking these up. I believe they are from a Chickering square grand. The paino was in an old home in New England, and since Chickering was in Boston, I believe these are orginal Chickering. My husband took these off a SQUARE GRAND PIANO that was being scraped. We also have the maghony legs.

3 salvaged grand piano legs with casters and metal plates-veneer peeling dings
Three piano legs from a vintage grand piano. castors on bottom of legs and metal plates on top. Some of the screws holding the castors in are missing. One screw broken off. cracks in wood legs, veneer peeled off, bigs dings, dents, etc in wood. The castors are worn discolored rust. the part of the brace on the top of the leg where the metal plates are found. Each leg meassures approx. 18" long and about 4 3/4" wide. The legs are approx. 22 high without the casrtors and approx. 24" including the castors Check out my!

1860s grand piano legs off a rare square piano. Very substantial and elegant! The pedal harp is beautiful! I had plans to use the 4 legs on an elegant entry table. Their beauty combined with their age and history would make an amazing statement piece. A designer friend even mentioned using them as sconces or corbels. I also planned to use the pedal harp as a lamp base by installing a touch resistant light kit on the pedals to turn the lamp on/off. Never got to it. So. Time to move them on to someone else. Square Grand Piano Legs - 4 Pieces Nicely Carved - with some damage
4 wonderfully carved piano legs that have some wear and also some tear- looking to support another. Less noisy, piece of furniture for another hundred years. Seriously these are four stout and ornate legs that could be"repurposed" to create a coffee table or a desk similarly proportioned to the piano pictured. The legs add 24" to anything they will be attached to. The wood thread on top is 1-3/4"x 3 threads per inch but this is an odd thread pitch- not standard for a metal nut/bolt thread. The legs have a dark opaque stain. The wood I believe is popular. There is a solid repair to the caster skirt on one of the legs. The legs show some"glue-line" from the original lamination. All the legs have the scrapes and bumps you would expect from a centenarian. Additionally all of the legs have abraded damage to the volute ... morearea. Pic 9. Additionally two of the legs have abraded damage to the grape cluster and scroll areas, pics 7&8. Take a good look at all the pics. Make sure you can use these, given their condition. We purchased these parts at a Virginia estate auction There are 4 beautifully carved cabriole Queen Anne style piano legs They appear to be for a very small square spinet or cabinet grand piano There are also the 2 elegant side pieces for the lyre Legs do have mounting hardware. One leg has a top section missing(see all photos) There is an additional mounting wooden block included We have researched and these appear to be mid to late 1800's No markings.
