Furniture/piano stool feet - Glass - cast iron - ball - Antique - Collectible
These four cast iron and glass ball feet came off a piano stool which was beyond repair. The feet are about 4” tall. With a 7/8” inside diameter opening, that tapers to about ½” at the bottom. The glass balls are full of tiny bubbles, have a horizontal casting seam in the middle, and a ½” diameter flattened spot on the bottom. This will cast them at approximately an 80 °( angle when flat on the floor. They are dirty and the gold paint is worn. Otherwise. They are in good, antique condition. They measure approximately 5" tall and fit legs that are approximately 1 1/4" and tapered. There are nicks. Chips, scratches.as to be expected.please see pictures. This is for the 3 casters/wheels you see in the first picture. Quite old. But not sure just how old. As you can see, they are all 3 the same. Very heavy steel. May be industrial or other type. Not sure. 1.5" diameter. The base measures 2-3/8" x 2-3/4" Heavy steel. Very unusual and decorative. Please look closely and ask whatever questions you may have.
