Antique Ash Drop Leaf Farm Table
This old farm table is in exceptional condition! Made of ash wood the color is distinctive and the grain is well defined and incredibly beautiful. Both sides have drop leafs that when up are supported by pivoting swing arms underneath. You can see these from the photos. The original caster are in excellent condition making it easy to move. Perfect if you are looking for an antique table that will fit easily in your kitchen. On a patio, sun room or breezeway. It is incredibly sturdy with no wobble. Three Massive 5" Diameter Antique Table Wood Legs Found in the barn at a farm sale two legs are 27" and one is 23 1/2" tall. Each are 5" in diameter. If I had to take a guess I'd say the wood was walnut but have no expertise in the area. They are a piece of art when I look at them. They amaze me the way they were constructed.as big puzzles. As you can see in the photos the finish is extremely worn and that is there beauty. The smallest leg has a chunk missing as you can see the photos. These would be a great statement piece just standing in the corner of a large room, or they could certainly be repurposed into lighting or shelf columns. They are beautiful to me and I am sure they will be beautiful to someone else too. FYI-The box is 36 lbs.

These 31 inch antique farm table legs came from upper NY State and made sometime in the 19th century. They are made of old growth Floridian or Cuban mahogany which is a very rare wood now as the last old growth trees disappeared a century ago. Each leg is mortised for table rails/aprons and supports. 2 CHUNKY VICTORIAN TURNED TABLE LEGS FARM TABLE 24"high
TwoTable legs measuring 24” with a 2 1/2” diameter and a 17 1/2" span through the legs. The legs are mounted on a brace piece that is 27 1/2" long.They do show their age with a few chips and dings. The wood appears to be oak based on color and weight. They have a lovely dark stain. A great start to your next project. Thanks for Looking!
