Large. Salvaged, architectural pediment. Beautiful, Victorian antique in overall wonderful condition! Walnut construction with raised, bevelled, burled panel in the middle. Highlights include.sawtooth trim far left and right, quarter fan carvings, segmented vertical trim, cornice molding above, and repeating geometric design across top with cannonball finials. Hanging wire attached in back with felt pads to protect wall. Can also freely stand upright, on its own. It currently measures 49 3/4 inches long, but will cut down in size at winners request for free. It is 9 1/4 inches tall to cannonball. Many other original 1800s architectural pieces listed. Large Eastlake *Spoon Carved* Furniture Panel/Pediment-Rare ONE OF A KIND!!!
You are invited to bid on an ornate- ONE OF A KIND- carved panel(walnut or mahogany not sure) It measures approx 53 in. long. 10 1/2 wide and 1/2-5/8 in. thick. The center is highly carved(spoon carving) with detailed flowers and leaves across the entire panel. The carved portion measures approx 49 by 7in. This is a heavy piece, weighs almost 10 lbs. before packing. The panel edges are beveled to slip on adjoining panel(tounge& grove) and the beveled tounge has splits that can be glued or removed based on your intended usage. The outer edge also has several splits that do not effect the structure of the panel that can be glued for an invisable repair. This finely carved panel exemplifies the craftsmanship of days gone by. Up for bid is a large Eastlake spoon carved pediment in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. It has a rich patina with deeply carved leaf design& nicely beveled edges Approx measurements are 5 in. wide. 48 in. long and 2 in. thick at the widest point. The carving is clean and deep with the wide edge being skillfully tooled. This peice graced my fireplace under the mantle for 30+ years adding charm and grace to the room. There are 2 small nail holes on the face of the carved board for mounting that can be seen in the pictures using the magnification function. Large. Salvaged panel with spoon carved Eastlake details, 2 medallions, pierced fretwork with clovers, 4 columns. Measures 13.5 inches tall in the front and 13.25 inches in back for one long side angles back slightly. The piece measures 45.5 inches long. Has a one inch ledge. Beautiful dark tiger oak. There are two holes on the ends(one each end) and one minor chip on the very end(see photo) On the back there are scratches like someone scratch the wood when taking something off- perhaps something that was at one time behind the open fretwork. There is also a red stain- perhaps the remnants of old glue. On one of the smaller panels, there are couple of small chips on the front(see photo) Other than this, the fretwork is in great shape. Back frame is in great shape as well. Nails hold on the back frame, no screws. Antique Eastlake Victorian SOLID WALNUT Carved& Inlaid FURNITURE FRONT PART The overall length is 24" and the width is 2" The thickness is 3/4" measurement is 13 3/4" and the tapered tips that extend into the chair slots are just a bit more that 1/2" long. This is a typical American Eastlake Victorian furniture part. The long grooves are typical as are the style of the carvings that either represent flowers or cherries. Also the strip of fancy burl grain which is overlaid in the 1" x 8" center rectangle is typical of Eastlake Victorian style. I do not know what piece of furniture this item was attached to. There is a wooden(walnut wood also) mounting bracket on the back and deep-set dadoes on each end that were used for mounting. Condition: This piece is in relatively good condition for its age. Circa 1800s. Salvaged, architectural piece. Made of walnut and perfect to display clocks, antiques, or family photos. Classic spoon carving all along the front. 2 ornate drop finials with 2 cannonball at the ends. 2 curved corbel brackets below and bevelled top board. It measures approx. 39 inches long, almost 8 inches tall, and just over 6 3/4 inches deep. Top is very rough with a groove along the front. Groove may help in displaying plates? Straight from the 1800s and still in mint condition! Classic. Eastlake, architectural panel. Inscribed carving surrounding a raised flower medallion. Curved beveling ends in an urn half finial. Below is a large, raised, beveled panel with a curve around the finial. May be walnut, but not certain. Fantastic patina. It measures just over 34 inches by 9 1/4 inches. PIERCE CARVED EASTLAKE VICTORIAN WALNUT PANEL / CREST
This is a very nice pierce carved antique Victorian walnut panel. It is solid walnut as opposed to a veneer. It measures 20" wide x 5" high in the center. The finial at the top appears to have been reattached at some point, otherwise it is in good condition. It was originally used to hold sheet music on an organ or piano. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs.

LARGE. Ornate, Victorian panel. Guaranteed antique. Salvaged from European cupboard. Solid walnut construction with nice beveled framing along the outside and around the center diamond. Near each corner is raised beveled triangles with spoon carved and inscribed carving. In the center is a DEEPLY acanthus carving and very dramatic to see in person. Escutcheon is off the hook!
