Hello! we are offering this beautiful finial piece. Which we believe was originally used on top of China Cabinet. We are not sure of exact age or type of wood, but guessing might be from around 40s and that wood is cherry or walnut. The piece is 24 3/4 in long, and 8 3/4 in high. The thickness is 1 5/16 and it has a beautiful traditional classic style. 5 Wooden Duncan Phyfe Table Leg Toe Cap
These came from Duncan Phyfe table that the original brass feet were chewed off by a dog. These replacement feet were made in the early 50"s by a cabinet maker in Olean N.Y.The last picture shows the grouping of 3(on the right) that are in great shape. The 2 on the left have some issues but are still presentable, they have minor dings, and one has a split crack in the front 1/2" long but you can't see it unless you apply slight pressue to the sides as to pull it apart(easily repaired with glue, the other has 2 cracks in the front and a horizontal crack between the two vertical ones, again you cant tell unless you try and pull, glue can resolve thast too.All and all not a bad set. Any shipping costs that turn out to be less than what Ebaycalculates will be refunded thru paypal. Anything over I will cover.

These 3 Brass Duncan Phyfe table leg caps are vintage. They measure 2 1/2" from the back to the front tip of the toe and 1 1/2" tall. The opening in the back is 1 1/8 wide by 1 5/16" tall by 1 3/4" deep before the toes start to bend down reaching the total length of 2 1/2" as stated before. Duncan Phyfe Style Wooden Pedestal with 4 Legs for a Stool or Small Table
For your consideration is a vintage pedestal for a stool or small table; the way my camera flash in picture No. 9. I am thinking it is probably to a stool for a piano or organ. Each leg has five grooves in it that run the entre distance of the leg. It was very dirty when I purchased it. I cleaned and cleaned and could not see enough of the wood to determine what kind of wood it is made of, I finally used a small amount of varnish remover on it(I was amazed at how easily the thick varnish came off) and determined it was pine. It is 14 3/8" tall. Measuring from the furthest outside point of a leg to the furthest outside point of the opposite leg is 17 1/2" It is much less than perfect; it is old and has been used. That being said: Other than the crack; the wood is solid and would cleanup nicely. It does need refinished. Starting at ... morethe top and running down the side for 2 1/2" is a crack. Also there are some minor chips. All damage shows in at least one picture. Please carefully examine the pictures; as the pictures are part of the description.
