Victorian Carved Walnut Wood Pediment Crest Crown Topper Trim Mirror Clock Door
Two beautifully detailed hand carved walnut pediments. These are solid walnut wood. Stained a dark brown with a soft satin finish. Nicely carved& are both in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are two screwed in brackets on the back of the pediments to make easy for mounting on the backside of a frame(top& bottom) for a mirror or picture. Can also attach to a dresser, hutch or wall unit. The brackets can be positioned sidewides to adorn directly on something like a clock or can easily be removed to adhere flatly to fire place mantel or above a door. Here is an antique Victorian clock or mirror pediment in as found condition. This carved piece measures about 18" wide and 8" tall. Plus mounting bracket attached with square/cut nails. There is a crack that can be seen in photos, as well as the original wrinkled varnish. This antique walnut trim piece would clean up nicely and add that finishing touch to a Victorian mirror, clock case or what have you. This is an antique Victorian era walnut crest or pediment with a large center medallion. It measures aprox. 21 1/4" wide x 9 1/4" high. The two panels on either side of the medallion are a veneer. One side is blistered and the other has two chips which you can see in the pictures. It was originally a little wider and has been trimmed down due to damage on one end. Antique Crown Crest Pediment Architecture Walnut Wood Salvage Art Nouveau
Antique carved dark walnut pediment/arch/crest salvaged from a Victorian era bed frame. A carved stylized floral motif with a single flower top center. The back still has a little fabric covered pad affixed with old fabric binding tape and small nails. This would prevent the frame from"bumping" against the wall. The number 13 is engraved on the back. Lovely old salvaged piece with a wonderful aged finish. Looks great hung over a window. Door, wall or shelf. In very nice overall. Despite a few flaws(see Condition) Measures: 40 1/2"L x approx 7"H. The board is 1 1/8" W measured just under the center crest.
