Old West Style Saddle Blanket Covered Cowboy Canteen about 8" x 3.5" w/metal cap
VINTAGE SADDLE BLANKET CANTEEN This is a vintage metal canteen with saddle blanket wool cover on both sides and also around the outer edge under the strap. It is is good condition as noted. With one area of rust as shown in the pics. The strap is in excellent condition, with a little loose stitching on one side near the buckle. It measures about 8" across and 3.5" wide. It has the original metal lid rather than the plastic found on the newer ones. I try to describe all items correctly and thorou ghly. Rust Resisting Oil Can. It has a screw off spout cap& a screw off lid. The handle is made of wire with a wood grip. The size is about 10" tall without handle& about 7" across the top. Including spout. Its in terrific condition for its age. It has a few scratches, a little rust& some chipping blue paint. I think this is from the era when service station attendants pumped your gas. Vintage Harkerware Stone China"White Cap" Creamer and Covered Sugar Set. These have the white speckle on the outside and the gray inside. Each piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of flea bites on the sugar and a little rough spots on the rim of the creamer. The creamer handle looks like it has some of the gray starting to show through. And just a little shelf wear on the bottom. The sugar bowl measures 3 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide. The creamer is 3 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" spout to handle. The leather is compromised on the bottom rim where 2/3 of the bottom rim have come lose from the sides of the flask. This is a tooled cowhide set of western Holsters! Very nice set of Holsters with some wear. They are very detailed! each Holster has a saddle. Trim work and the stone centered star! Above the holster is a tooled covered Wagon with horses. The original leather string leg ties are still there. The buckle has been buffed, but needs polished. One rivet has pulled out at the bottom of one holster. The inside of part of the belt is peeling? Part is not? There was a bullet loop on the back, it is missing. There is no torn areas in the leather! It has a brand inside the circle. see picture three) If anyone knows the maker and would like to share the information, I would appreciate that!
