Tama 8x14 heavy bronze snare drum. The 1.2 mm thick bronze shell combined withe the heavy hoops ang large size makes the drum weigh in at 15 pounds. Everything on this drum functions as it should and nothing needs changed. The power snares are in good condition. The snare side REMO ambassador head has lots of life left, and the batter Aquarian coated power dot head is almost new. Other than the heavy cast hoops, all other parts on this drum down to the tension rod washers are original. if you look close the hoops show a few spots with cosmetic flaws in their finish(one of these is pictured) Also pictured is maby an oxidation spot on the bearing edge where the plastic of the head touches the shell. This is only cosmetic since the edge is smooth to the touch. This drum is used so if you look close you may find a small/light scratch here or ... morethere. Dogon art is extremely versatile. Although common stylistic characteristics– such as a tendency towards stylization– are apparent on the statues. Their art deals with the myths whose complex ensemble regulates the life of the individual. The sculptures are preserved in innumerable sites of worship, personal or family altars, altars for rain, altars to protect hunters, in market. As a general characterization of Dogon statues, one could say that they render the human body in a simplified ... moreway, reducing it to its essentials. I am very pleased to bring to you this outstanding cast iron treadle sewing machine base that was made by Willcox and Gibbs that has a last patent date of 1870. The base retains its original paint and luster and I am selling to you in as found and as is condition which is amazing for all these years it has been around. PLease look at all the pictures and know that there is no breaks or cracks in any part of the base with only minor paint wear to the"feet pedal" It measures 28" high by 11" tall and 22" wide which is a very desirable size for todays homes.
