Architectural Salvage Carved Mahogany Panel - 1800s (1 of 2)
Years ago. I purchased these two carved mahogany panels for a project in the house. My original intent was to cut down the panels and inset them into the wall and then frame around them. But my wife and I area in the process of downsizing and starting to sell off our artwork including these two mahogany panels. The panels are in excellent condition. At one time this panels were attached to a large piece of furniture. They were meticulously carved. These are very strong mahogany panels and are either from French or English origins from the mid to late 1800s. There are two panels and priced per panel. They measure 21 X 24 inches for the outer dimensions. The carved interior panel measures 12 1/2 X 16 1/2. The starting price is price per panel. There are two panels.

Antique Mahogany Wood Carved Lion Claw Tri Foot Feet Parts Repair Table Base
Beautiful antique wooden carved tri-foot lion claw feet for furniture repair. These are lovely and were made early. Not sure of the age, I unfortunately broke the table that they were attached to. The actual claw feet are 10 1/2" from the toes/claws to the middle base by 8 1/4" high from floor to the base. The center base piece is about 9 1/4" high by 4 3/8" wide. I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. Please examine the pictures closely, there are some glue marks, etc. that show the condition better than I can describe. Thanks for looking!

Antique salvage Queen Anne, solid Mahogany carved legs America 1900 - 1950
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!

HAND CARVED MAHOGANY TRIM FRAGMENT: This is a beautifully carved section of mahogany casing trim. The mahogany has a very light natural finish. The carving of the looping floral design is of unusually high quality. There is a stylized egg and dart pattern carved along the radiused top edge and square cut bottom edge. One end of the trim has a 45 degree angled cut. The piece of mahogany trim has been mounted on a shaped white marble fragment. Copper tubes support the trim. The mahogany piece is 19" long x 5" tall x 1" thk. The marble base is approx. 11" long x 2 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" d. The overall height of the piece is 8 1/2" Weight is approx. 6 lbs. Antique hand Carved Victorian Gothic Mahogany Column Capital Architectural Piece
This exceptionally nice architecturally inspired column measures 35 ½” tall x 13 ¼” square at the capital x 11 ¼” diameter at the carved cushion base. All of the wood is solid mahogany EXCEPT to very top ¾” of the 10 ½” tall capital which is mahogany veneered birch. The veneer is lifting on the corners as shown. As the photos show. The mahogany has rich grain and the capital is DEEPLY carved with naturalistic leaves and flower blossoms and crisp volutes on the corners. You will note old age/shrinkage cracks in the capital but no loss. The finish is a dry old refinish from many years ago and there are traces of old black finish in the details. Offered is a Gorgeous 1800’s Victorian Mahogany table base with original patina and finish. This stunning base has original wood and metal casters/wheels. The legs are solid Mahogany wood where as the body has a Mahogany veneer wood. The piece is in great condition but on one side of the body there is a very slight buckle in the veneer very hard to see and can be remedied please notice photos. It weighs a solid 20 pounds and measures 36” across from toe to toe x 12” high x 11.1/4” wide. This flat base would allow for a planter pot bowl or to reconstruct as a table.
