These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. The usable space between the front and back legs, for a shelf for instance, is 15" The distance from the back of the splash brace to the front lip is 30.5" Distance between the outer edges of the front and back feet is 24" Each leg weighs just under 60 pounds. The wood is just an old warped, cracked 2" by, you don't want it anyhow, with a trip to a lumberyard or scrap pile you can have a table or bench any size you want. This is a set of 3 old steel stands that would make cool bench or table bases. They're heavy duty steel with a hole in the center for mounting a top. Two of them measure about 11 1/2" by 11 1/2" by 15 1/4" tall. The third measures about 9 1/2" by 9 1/2" by 13 3/4" tall. The smaller one would make a good accent piece to the pair. They have worn green paint(the smaller one has some blue) Surface rust, etc, etc, but are good and solid! ... moreTogether they weigh around 15 lbs unpacked. I'm using the postage calculator on this. ADJUSTABLE STEEL METAL WORKBENCH LEGS Vintage Work Bench Table Base Industrial
Offering a set of vintage heavy duty steel workbench/ work bench/ machine stand/ table legs. They are constructed with steel'C' channel. Making them strong as well as lending to the adjustable aspect. The legs are held in position by 2 machine screws threaded into a sliding block inside the'C' channel. Each leg adjusts independently of the other in each set. This allows for differential height adjustment to allow for sloped or uneven floor. Height can be adjusted from 34" to 48" These are in solid condition, but have layers of paint loss, surface rust, and dirt. They will need wire brushed and/ or cleaned OR wipe off and clear coat to preserve the rust and flaking paint. Outside measurement of the legs front to back is 18" The whole set weighs 26 pounds before packing.
