The wood pegs on the bottom are about 5/8 inches wide, and one is a little longer than the other. They are not perfect but absolutely beautiful and very hard to find a nice matching pair like this. I had bought these from a gentleman who had a lot of wonderful architectural salvage items in his inventory and he told me that one of them had been cracked near the bottom and he said that he had carefully repaired it with JB Weld and reinforced it with several small metal pins and you have to look to find the repair and probably stronger than original.

It’s in very nice vintage condition with an aged look to it. There's a small split running from top to bottom on one side, it can be seen in the 3rd picture. It just adds character to it!
