BEAUTIFUL PAIR ANTIQUE WHITE OVERLAY NEWEL POST FINIALS
This is beautiful matching pair of Newel post finials from the mid-1800s. They retain their original brass fittings and are made of a shiny layer of white glass over a clear glass interior. The white overlay glass has been cut through in circular rings of punties. One measured 6-1/2 inches tall. While the other is slightly smaller at 6-3/8 inches. This is to be expected in hand blown glass. Both have a maximum diameter of approximately 3 inches. Both are in excellent condition with no damage to the glass. One has a small open bubble on the lower edge of one punty(see last picture) This resulted when a bubble in the clear glass was cut when the punty was cut into the glass. It does not go through the glass and there are no associated cracks or chips. This is the way the finial was made some 150 years ago. The brass fittings are in good condition ... morewith only a couple of tiny nicks from long ago. This is a beautiful set of white overlay Newel post finials. They have the name of an American fur company cast into the back, these were probably cast for a store display in the early 1900's. Up for bid is a stunningly beautiful pair of antique solid walnut pump organ side panels. With gorgeous Eastlake designed incised carvings throughout. The side panels were removed from an antique pump organ, that had to be moved due to location and all wood was salvaged. The wood has been completely stripped of it's original dark, ugly finish to reveal a light colored walnut wood, ready to take any colored or natural finish, your heart desires. The panels have some beautiful incised carving of flowers, medallions, spindled columns and nicely curved embellished feet. The side panels were meticulously separated from the rest of the pump organ, making sure to do little to no damage to what you see before you. The dimensions of the panels are 46-5/8" in height x 23-1/2" deep x 3-3/4" thick at the widest point. Beautiful piece to add to all kinds of projects or just to hang by itself. It is a great size.about 11.25"x9.25" with the maximum thickness just about 1/2" The front has great detail in the picture and scrolls surrounding it as well as the beautiful boarder. It has a few dings and dents/bending to edges but this doesn't detract at all from the main piece. I am not sure if it came from a fireplace since it has the soot on the back but did also see a pair of these sold about a year ago that the seller stated came from a player piano. Please look at the copper piece that I have listed as well.I purchased them at the same time and it has the same soot type substance on the back as well- but heavier. It may also be from a piece of furniture. But wherever it came from it is a nice solid piece to add to just about anything. It is done in deep relief and the shape of it arches it out from whatever it is mounted on. The ribbons and floral parts add so much to the angels. It measures5.25" wide and 4.5" tall. When mounted the angel's heads stick out the furthest and this is about 1.25"1.5" I am showing a picture of the panel as well, but this auction is for the smaller double angel furniture piece only.

Possibly a bureau or buffet. the smaller ones don't have the skeleton shaped key hole, it is more of a rectangle. Inludes all screws. These are NOT magnetic, believed to be solid brass. From a great pet and smoke free estate! Payment is appreciated within 5 days. Antique cast iron Table Legs Industrial machine age. Beautiful form and style.
Antique pair of cast iron desk or table legs. These legs has a set height of 20" inches. It has a beautiful form and style with curves. The base is 13 1/2" across. Top frame is 9 3/4" across. The only mark on these legs is the no.3 on each leg. It was cleaned and painted 20+ years ago so it is still clean and ready to go. Small spots of paint that can be cleaned off. These legs are ready to be re-purpose and would make a nice coffee table. Entertainment console, entry bench, or a corner lamp desk. I've included a photo of how an industrial machine age cast iron legs would look in it's recycled setting.

They are solid, sturdy and very attractive, could make a great table, kitchen island etc?
