This ca. 1860-1875 solid walnut hand carved pediment in the rococo revival manner measures43 1/2" wide x 23" tall x 2" deep with the pierced and fruit carved removable section measuring app. 25" x 8 1/2" tall. The piece is in fairly well preserved condition with dry old refinished surface and some sratches. Gouges and scrapes from a recent move. There is a glued breaks in the openwork on one end, but no apparent loss. It most likely graced a stately bedstead or armoire and has a great rich look. This late 1800s gothic revival shield is hand carved with medieval designs including a large central double headed dragon and deeply fluted edge. It measures 20 1/4" tall x 17 1/8" wide x 1 1/2" deep and features a raised band of naturalistic fruit in the baroque manor. A meticulously stippled background and baroque shells. 2 Walnut Antique Victorian cabinet door inserts w/ fancy carving
Offered for auction are these wonderful walnut cabinet door inserts. They appear to have come from sideboard cupboard base doors and were screwed in as evidenced by the screw holes. Also. The witness mark in a sinuous pattern even more solidifies my idea they were from a sideboard. Each door insert has a large shaped walnut burl veneer panel with a three dimensional carving glued to it. Looks like a lyre of some sort. One panel has a lobe missing on the glued on lyre. Original finish and would be super to hang on the wall or even put back into a door frame. 20 1/2" t by 18 1/2" w. Can be shipped in about 10 days.

Antique Eastlake Victorian SOLID WALNUT Carved& Inlaid FURNITURE FRONT PART The overall length is 24" and the width is 2" The thickness is 3/4" measurement is 13 3/4" and the tapered tips that extend into the chair slots are just a bit more that 1/2" long. This is a typical American Eastlake Victorian furniture part. The long grooves are typical as are the style of the carvings that either represent flowers or cherries. Also the strip of fancy burl grain which is overlaid in the 1" x 8" center rectangle is typical of Eastlake Victorian style. I do not know what piece of furniture this item was attached to. There is a wooden(walnut wood also) mounting bracket on the back and deep-set dadoes on each end that were used for mounting. Condition: This piece is in relatively good condition for its age. The ... moreonly wear and tear seems to be on the overlaid burl strip that is worn off along the topp edge and the left end. It is not warped. This beautiful piece was at one time attached to the top of a 1800s pump organ for decorative purposes only. The woodwork is absolutely beautiful! It has some ornate carvings along the top and on each inset panel on the side. It has lovely turned spindles on the top. Sides and middle. It has the original beveled glass mirror which has a small bit of hazing due to age. There is a small shelf that runs just below the mirror.There is also room on top for more things This piece would look beautiful mounted on a wall over a table, On Top Of a Dresser or Desk or in an entranceway or add hooks and it would be a great hall tree. Offered for auction is this very nice antique Victorian inside window double shutter with super brass/bronze hinges. These shutters were mounted inside the window casing inside the home and used to close off the light or cold. The very dark side is the side that faced the window. Someone has begun to refinish the shutter and you can see the beautiful Mahogany or Walnut wood in the stripped side. This would make a super door front for a cabinet. I am unsure of the actual piece of furniture but could have been from an organ or sideboard/buffet. They are made very well. They are definitely shelves, possibly candle sconces to light up the piece of furniture being used or for playing the organ. Each one has one hole that goes straight through the arm which would be to secure to the piece of furniture, each has two holes in the back for pegs and the pegs are still there, I think they are walnut, Victorian style but uncertain of the actual date. Bed Parts Panels and dividers from an 1870's/80's Victorian walnut bed. Original finish. Dimensions: Expossed aera is 53 1/4" long. Panels are 54 3/8" total length with the raised area being 53" One is 9" wide and the other is 7" wide. The dividers are 53 5/8" long including the tennons, the one that goes between panels is 4" wide and the one that is the bottom from the footboard is also 4" wide. This is an antique Victorian pediment with a fluted walnut column crest on top. The body is made of pine and has carved walnut trim around the bottom and the crest is walnut as well. It measures 44" wide. 41" wide at the bottom x 8" high x 6" deep. Overall it is in good condition. Looking at the bottom you can see that it was attached to a larger piece.
