Furniture/piano stool feet - Glass - cast iron - ball - Antique - Collectible
These four cast iron and glass ball feet came off a piano stool which was beyond repair. The feet are about 4” tall. With a 7/8” inside diameter opening, that tapers to about ½” at the bottom. The glass balls are full of tiny bubbles, have a horizontal casting seam in the middle, and a ½” diameter flattened spot on the bottom. This will cast them at approximately an 80 °( angle when flat on the floor. They are dirty and the gold paint is worn. Otherwise. They are in good, antique condition. These feet may also fit on a parlor table. Payment is due within 2 days of auction end via Paypal. Thanks for looking.

Antique Piano Stool screw assembly, 8-1/2" tall, special locking mechanism
This auction is for a piano stool screw assembly. I don't know if it is truly unusual or not. But it is to me. This mechanism is designed so that if someone sits on it and spins it will not spin off or go down. By getting off the seat and lifting it slightly, you activate a locking feature that lets you raise and lower the stool top. When sat in, this is not engaged and it spins freely without turning the screw. It is about 8-1/2" tall. The large base that attaches to the bench is about 4" accross with four screw holes(screws not included) The shaft that goes into the base is 1-3/8" accross where round. One side is flattened a bit to lock in place. This is a really nice freely moving screw assembly with some rust showing as might be expected. Three piano stool or bench legs. Looks like oak with heavy metal claw feet and bubbled glass marbles in them. Holes with partial broken wood where side bars would have went. Some nails at the top where a seat would be attached. Feet are screwed in and glass does not show any breaks. I can remove the wood legs if you just want the claw feet. Good vintage condition–all the toes are there. Top of each foot has an inside diameter of about ¾” with a screw hole for attaching to a furniture leg-Please inspect the photos to see the true condition of these pieces. Set of 4 antique Claw Foot cast iron and glass ball piano stool feet hardware
These came off of an old piano stool. They measure 3.75 inches long and 1.5" wide at the ball. They weight about 1 lb. all together. After taking photos I found a small split in the iron under a claw where it grasps the glass. It is just a few sixteenths of an inch long. I am confident that it is not a structural concern where the iron would possibly break. It looks as if maybe it occured during manufacure; perhaps due to a temperature shift when cooling.
