The top plate is 4 ¾” wide x 6 ½” long. These casters are great for using in primitive furniture projects such as coffee tables and flower carts. These casters are very heavy. Only one swivel assembly fits in a large flat rate USPS box; one rigid assembly fits in a medium flat rate USPS box. Consequently. Four separate packages will be used for shipping. Condition: While they have been brushed to remove loose debris. They have been in an industrial setting for years and need significant cleaning. These casters work well. One of the rigid casters has a top plate that is bent. Causing the alignment to be bit crooked. The wheel rotates without any rubbing. However. Lot of 4 Antique STEM CASTERS With WOODEN WHEELS With Swivel Inserts These casters have the insert that goes into the hole of the furniture leg. Then the caster is inserted into the insert where it snaps in and stays without falling out of the furniture leg when the furniture piece is lifted off the floor. The hardwood wheels are about 1 1/8" in diameter and about 5/8" in thickness. The stems are 1 1/2" long. 1/4" in diameter with a knob at the top that is 5/16" in diameter. These casters are very similar in size and look, but they are not exactly alike. Condition: These casters are used. None of the wheels are cracked or broken or have flat spots. Two of the wheels have no wear on the axle and two have some wear. But are still quite usable. All my items are from a nonsmoking environment. 8 Vintage NOS Caster Brackets Antique Furniture Wheel Hardware Repair Parts
8 Replacement Caster Mounting Brackets/Sockets NOS with signs of age Most common size(these will most likely fit yours) See ruler in pictures for size comparison Approximately 1 3/16" tall Hole diameter is 3/8" I have two types of casters included in this lot- one set of four that appear to be newer and made of a thinner gauge steel and the other lot of four(the ones with signs of corrosion) are old replacements which have a heavier gauge steel(very strong) They are the same size and will work the same you just might want to use them on different applications. Thanks for your interest! When installing: First check to see if your caster fits the bracket- then take it out but make sure to pinch the flanged tube of the bracket back in place with pliers(that's what holds your caster in the bracket) Now if your caster stem fits in ... morethe hole and extends past the tube of the bracket. At all, your caster fits- Even if it has play up and down, it's OK, many wheels have varying stem lengths, the important thing is that the wheels/casters don't fall out.they will still spin freely which is what your going for(you don't usually need to lift your dresser leg off of the ground.So you don't have to worry about vertical play) If the stem of your caster is two long for the hole of your furniture leg just drill it deeper with a bit the size of the bracket tube. Next center the bracket evenly in the hole of the furniture leg you're working with. Then tap the toothed portion of the bracket into the wood with a hammer- it won't get flush with the wood but it should be pretty snug, then put your caster in. Your set!

Mounting plate 2" in diameter, while each wheel is 1 3/4" in diameter. Caster will raise furniture 2 1/2" from the floor. Steel/cast iron components originally produced with bronze tone. Wheels are hickory or some other hardwood. Casters are used and vary in condition. Wood wheels are quite nice with some wear and tiny cracks on a few. General wear also on contact points of metal. Reasonably clean. Bronze tone gone in spots and there is a little light rust in some places as well. Lot Of 7 Vintage Matching Porcelain Wheel Casters 1 1/8" Rollers 2"Pins in great condition. I found these casters at a recent estate auction. They all match. The wheels are 1 1/8 inches in diameter. The pins are 2 inches long and are 1/4 inch in diameter. Just the right amount to put on a 4 legged and a 3 legged table. They need to be cleaned. I do not ship on Saturdays because I am usually out looking for more"stuff" Thanks for looking!
