Greeting Fellow Kollectors! Up for sale are from my most recent finds! This colorful hand carved axe head came from a wonderful estate of a man who was described by his widow as a'an amateur Indian Jones of sorts' He was an early film documentary film maker who travelled and explored all over the world and hence where his extensive collection of interesting and amazing artifacts came from. This beautiful axe was told to me to be Pre-Columbian in origin as the original owner had a vast collection of such artifacts. Collected in the 50's and 60's. It has a wonderful patina and is carved with by a skilled artisan hand. The item looks very ancient and there are no signs of modern tooling.
