Dating: ca. 250.000 to 40.000 B.C. Description: Size: 6.3 cm x 6,2 cm x 4,6 cm, weight 215 grams, Shape. Retouch: a fantastic hammerstone on chalcedony core with drusies. Which may have been the reason for the core to be converted into this hammerstone. The tool is roundish, but some flat planes(negative scars of detached flakes) are still visible. The hammerstone has two major scars fields on the faces, and several edges have scars fields too, as they were used for flint knapping. A large drusy is on the face shown first, but the crystals are rounded and worn, they don’t glitter anymore. The second drusy with glittery crystals is shown in pictures 6 and 7.
