Exceptional Paleolithic Acheulean Early Man Axe, Ancient African Artifact AACA
LOWER PALEOLITHIC(ACHEULEAN) EARLY MAN HAND AXE. The term Paleolithic was coined by archaeologist John Lubbock in 1865. It derives from the Greek palaios(old) and lithos(stone) Meaning O ld Stone Age, compared to the later Neo-lithic or New Stone Age. The Paleolithic Era is divided into 3 ages. The Upper(10,000 to 50,000 BP) Middle( 30.000 to 300,000 BP) and Lower(up to 2 million years ago) It is in the Lower Paleolithic that we find the Acheulean Tradition, which covers a time span of from 100.000 to over 1 million years before our present time. Surviving artifacts of this period are known as paleoliths and were manufactured by early hominids. From Homo habilis and Homo erectus to early Neanderthal, all predecessors of our species, Homo sapiens. Other Makes : Other Midget Racer AACA Grand Champion Joe Shaheen 1939 Midget Racer
eBay template information@RKMotorsCharlotte.com. 5527 Lakeview Road. Charlotte, NC, 28269, US. AACA Grand National Champ Trophy Winning Midget Racer. Year: 1939 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Black Mileage: 501 Transmission type: Direct Drive Engine: Interior color: Saddle Restored vintage race cars are hard to find. Restored vintage race cars that are AACA certified and have won five AACA awards. Including the very prestigious President's National, are almost non-existent. This 1939 Joe Shaheen Midget Racer is the product of a little luck and a whole lot of hard work. After sitting untouched for almost half a century it underwent a no holds barred six year restoration, using mostly rebuilt original parts, to once again become a 100% correct track ready race car. Today with over 100 dirt and asphalt victories, four track ... morechampionships and five significant AACA awards under its belt, this one of a kind Midget is the perfect car for any collector who likes to win big and make history! Built in 1939 by Herman Kluge and Nick Kish. This remarkable little car was one of two look-alikes created for a Springfield, Illinois native by the name of Joe Shaheen. At the time, Illinois was a hotbed for Midget racing and Shaheen decided to campaign number 29 and 39 cars to promote the 2939 phone number to his Midget supply and tire business. The 39 car was raced with a stock 60 horsepower flathead V8 until 1939 and then put into storage until after the World War II. When brighter days dawned in 1946, Shaheen commissioned the same two builders to completely refurbish the car into a 200+ horsepower, reversed engine speedway terror. Shaheen, who had once driven the car but was presently pre-occupied with his newly minted Springfield Speedway, campaigned the 39 for whatever driver needed a ride. And over the next six years top notch drivers which included Rex Easton, Harry Meyers, Chuck Weyant, Gene Weyant, Steve Orme and Chuck Marshal, who at one time won six features in one week, would establish it as the most dom

Aterian (Neanderthal) Early Man Point, Ancient African Arrowhead AACA
ATERIAN EARLY MAN POINT. The Aterian industry was a type of stone tool manufacturing developed around the Atlas Region of the Northern Sa hara Desert of Africa. It dates back to the Middle Stone Age(Middle Paleolithic) and was a development of the Mousterian culture. Tools and weapons of the Aterian culture date back 30.000- 80,000 years and more. Aterian tool technology was used from Africa to Europe by both Cro Magnon Man and Neanderthals! Crude stone tools and weapons were made and used much further back in time. But the Aterian was the first to develop a stemmed point that could be used as a projectile, as a dart, spear or arrow point. These fascinating ancient weapons ar e quite rare and represent a milestone in early human development. This piece is 1 3/4" long. 1" wide and about 3/8" thick. It clearly shows the stem ... moredesigned for mounting to a shaft, and has what looks to me to be an impact fracture on the left side of the tip in the main photo. This occurs when a projectile point hits a hard surface such as rock or bone and part of the point fractures off. If this is an impact fracture. It would be interesting to know what it struck. This piece also has a beautiful ancient patina that only countless eons of exposure to the elements can produce. As with all of my artifacts it is g uaranteed authentic for life! Select Sahara Stone Bracelet, Authentic Ancient Artifact from Africa, AACA
STONE BRACELET. These stone artifacts are fascinating. Opinions on age for these items vary from 500 years to over 4.000 years or more, but in any event, they are still authentic lithic artifacts from Africa and are very interesting pieces. Connecticut Clovis Quartz Crystal Paleo Point Arrowhead Indian Artifact AACA
Here is one absolutely stunning. Undoubtedly authentic paleo point. This gorgeous Clovis was made from a piece of banded quartz crystal. The candy cane striped pattern looks amazing inside the clovis, showing through the translucent crystal. This gem was found in Connecticut. That makes this very unique point a very rare one as well. Finding a Clovis is super uncommon in Connecticut. They do exist but they're such a major rarity. They look a bit different from common Midwest clovis points. Its the same basic concept and design but made with very different materials. You certainly don't find many quartz crystal clovis points floating around, available for sale. This point came from a large arrowhead display at a Connecticut Children's museum. Sadly the museum closed down. They sold their massive collection of all locally found ... moreand donated points. I obtained a small portion of the collection from the person who purchased them directly from the museum. Guaranteed 100% authentic Indian artifact. 45 day no hassle return policy. Great Basin Plainview Clovis Knife Arrowhead Nevada Idaho Indian Artifact AACA
This knife blade was found in either Northern Nevada or Southern Idaho several decades ago. There's some damage at top and bottom. But most of base is intact as is the length of the blade. It looks very much like a plainview or clovis knife. The irregularity at top slightly protruding to one side is what throws me off. Unusual for a plainview or clovis to have that. But possible. Maybe this piece wasn't finished. The irregularity may be stone that wasn't flaked to perfection because of breakage while knapping the blade or some other type of flaw.
