The center top of the mirror is graced with a beautiful scrolled foliate crown with carved grape cluster center. This beautiful crown is removable for shipping purposes and sits on the gorgeous mirrored top which is adorned with elegant moulding. Many raised burled panels, rosette roundels, fancy leaf carved shoulders, four candle-stands(unusual as most Victorian dressers only have two) and elegant pierced carved grape and leaf carved ornamentations on the sides. The entire mirrored top is removable for shipping purposes and sits on the very ornate white marble top base. The beautiful and removable white marble tops are beveled and in excellent condition for their age. From a functional standpoint. Antique Chippendale Sideboard Buffet Dresser Great for living room/bedroom. Lots of storage. Six drawers and center cabinet. The front of the drawers have a walnut veneer that adds beautiful contrast to the piece. It has beautiful carved claw legs(over balls) One of the drawers is missing a small part of it's veneer. There is a stress crack across the top and down one side. It was purchased this way. And does not impact the structural integrity of the piece. Wood filler in the crack is a light brown color on top amd darker on the side. One of the drawers has the original green felt inside. Minimal Work for such a regal piece. I do not know the maker or exact date this vanity was made. I believe it is from the Art Nouveau era which makes it about 100 years old. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. Purchased through an estate sale in old Charleston, SC and in lovely condition for a late 19th century piece with three wonderful beveled mirrors, lovely burl walnut on the front of the drawers, six small drawers and two large drawers for lots of organized storage and a nice top surface. The finish is in good condition, commensurate with it's age with only the minor nicks and dents one would expect with respectful use over time. The three beautiful beveled mirrors are clear and in very good condition, free of cracks, chips or pitting. In my close up I show how easily these mirrors on the side remove for easy and safe transport then are simply hooked back in place. Antique Dresser with Movable Hinged Mirror- Walnut color A lovely. Very old piece. I am not sure of its exact age. It was pulled from my great-grandparents' house in North Carolina many decades ago and kept at my grandmother's. The bar underneath the mirror indicates that it was used to hold a towel. This dresser might have been useful for holding a water pitcher and bowl before most folks even had running water in their homes. Wheels were added to the bottom for ease of use. This special piece is still quite functional. The mirror is really neat- it swings easily fowards and backwards via hinges. One can tell the glass in the mirror is really old. Beautiful antique triple hinged mirror vanity and matching upholstered stool. This walnut vanity has been refinished and has all new hardware and wheels. Interior of drawers are very clean. Moveable triple mirrors have all been replaced and have no scratches. A few light scratches but in excellent condition over all. The vanity is approximately 46" wide by 67" high and 18" deep. This GORGEOUS vanity dresser is all original aside from 4 mirror screws& the bottom of 4th drawer. With just normal aged wear. This piece is still in good condition for its age. It has beautiful bow ribbon emblems on the front side corners and a sunburst like image at top of mirror. Mirror is in excellent condition, no blemishes, cracks, etc; and original tacks/hardware are in place and secure. replaced the old screws that once held it to arms as they were no longer steady. All(4) drawers are made well and still slide properly(replaced the bottom of 4th drawer. Do not have the keys for keyhole locks unfortunately. Hinged triple mirrors have all been replaced and have no scratches. The mirror easily slides securely into the back of the vanity. Measuring approximately 46" wide by 67" high and 18" deep. Antique Walnut Short 30" Lingerie Dresser OLDIE
Here is a really neat shorty lingerie dresser for sale. I was told this is Walnut wood. But I am not an expert on wood. This is most likely late 1800s or early 1900s dresser. Really ornate handles, has a cutting board style top shelf that pulls out on top of the drawers, very unique. This stands 30" tall, is 30" wide, and 17" deep. There is surface wear scratching but its all varnish wear, no chips and only one crack on the back panel that is not visible. Could be refinished, but I like how it looks now with the varnish wear other then the black smudge that should be cleaned up on one of the drawers, pictured. Really neat old dresser. Used. Measures about 48" x 19" 43" There is a stamp on the back of the piece in black- see pic. I cannot make it out. I can read what I believe is Lawrenceburg Warranted Manufactured. The other words. Especially the top and what appears to be state initials I am unable to read. This piece is very heavy. The wood appears to be walnut. It has been refinished- that I can tell. I believe it's a gorgeous piece! But that is my perception. I believe it is is from around the turn of the century. Someone told me 1850- 1860. But I do not believe so because of the black stamping on the back. There are 2 holes on the back of the piece on each side toward the top. My guess is for a mirror. But I could be wrong.
