Machine Age cast iron adjustable table legs antique vintage old cool DIY
Here is a nice set of Kenney Bros& Wolkins cast iron adjustable table legs. They would make a great coffee table. End table, or whatever else you can dream up for them. Great industrial look to them. Legs are in great shape with no cracks or repairs. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. There is light rust in places. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The legs are 11 and 3/4" wide at the base, and 7 and 1/2" wide at the top. They adjust from 15 and 1/2" tall at the lowest to 20 and 1/4" tall at the highest. feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.

A very cool old cast iron pedestal base. Marked on the bottom with Heywood Eclipse. The base is 8 and 3/4" in diameter. It adjusts from 10 and 3/8" at the lowest to 17 and 5/8" at the highest. This antique heavy cast iron& bronze or copper? plated chandelier/hanging electric lamp has a wonderful Art Deco design and weighs nearly 7 pounds. It measures approx. 16" high. Section in scan#2 itself measures 13 1/4" long x 6" across widest point. Round section seen in scans# 4& 9 measures 7 1/2" in diameter.Each decorative plate attached to the round section seen in scans# 3. 10,11, 12 each measure approx. 3 1/2" across from widest point to 3 1/2" long.Copper/copper-coated link chain measures 35 inches long.It has one decorative plate which has some rusting due to storage( it was the one piece that was touching a barn's floor) and it needs to be rewired as the fabric covered wire has no plug at its end. A few minor scratches on bronze plated top, along with a missing finial. Here is an Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cast iron leg. Good condition. Wheels turn free. It was repainted in a cream color a LONG time ago, which seems to have prevented rust. There are no cracks. It has a nice ring when tapped. Please see the photos for the size of this item. These were sold in several different sizes. This was used on a full size Singer. Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. The guy i bought this from told me this was a wall mount stool. I Don't this so. I think it is a floor mount. But as the buyer you can decide! I took pictures both ways. ANy way this is an oldie! It is also very heavy it weights 23 lbs. THe stool wooden seat measure 10 1/2 inches across and is 2 inches thick. It is 24 inches tall from the floor with the seat down. THe only marks i see says Patented. THe metal plate on the bottom is 12 x 12 inches! I really feel this piece came out of an old post office. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. Antique 20 1/2" Medina NY Cast Iron Machine Age Industrial Table Base Leg Ornate
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is another great looking antique cast iron table base or leg– a little bit more ornate than the standard Machine Age Industrial salvage pieces we usually offer. This stand or base stands 20 ½” tall at the top and measures 9” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 12” across at the outside edges and between 11 ½” and 11 ¾” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked SPECIAL and the opposite side is marked SIZE 11 ¾. The center post is topped with an emblem that also tightens up the bolt at the bottom– the emblem or topper is marked ... moreMEDINA. N.Y. W. IDE. Each side has a wonderful scroll work arm to support the top piece. The center post. Pole or leg has a stacked look which attaches to the domed base. I took a picture of how the top is attached with the old original screws on one side from underneath. This stand or table base needs to either have the bolt or screw that runs up the center replaced or tightened up. There is no damage to the piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There are some areas of old original paint, and some areas of rust coloring. The bottom of the base has the most rust coloring, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. We gave this pieces a quick going over with a hard bristle brush and nothing else. With a bit of time and elbow grease, this will be a work of art. Four Antique Claw and Glass Ball Table Chair Legs Eagle Feet Cast Iron Faces
Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. We have up for auction today a set of 4 M atching L arge Cast Iron Eagle Claw and Ball Bathtub Feet! They are in good condition, but not perfect. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. They are heavy and solid. They measure 4in from front to back on top and is 5in wide at the largest part. They did come out of an old stone blocked house. Don't miss out on this great find! This is a beautiful turn of the century matched pair of genuine Kenney Wolkins signed thick cast iron table legs. They are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks and the black paint is in good condition with moderate paint loss. They adjust from 17.5" to 24.5" and are all original with large nut screw adjustments. Screws and slides all run smoothly and they lock down nice and tight. Furniture/piano stool feet - Glass - cast iron - ball - Antique - Collectible
These four cast iron and glass ball feet came off a piano stool which was beyond repair. The feet are about 4” tall. With a 7/8” inside diameter opening, that tapers to about ½” at the bottom. The glass balls are full of tiny bubbles, have a horizontal casting seam in the middle, and a ½” diameter flattened spot on the bottom. This will cast them at approximately an 80 °( angle when flat on the floor. They are dirty and the gold paint is worn. Otherwise. They are in good, antique condition. Antique Payson Mfg Co. 360 Degree Cast Iron Wooden Wheel Furniture Casters
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND TERMS BEFORE BIDDING! FREE SHIPPING! Up for auction are Five antique/ vintage furniture cast iron wooden wheel casters(5) total Circa 1880’s. Recovered from an antique furniture carpenters inventory. They are we believe to be Payson Mfg Co. 360 Degree cast iron casters with wooden wheels. An extensive research of the web produced none like it and only two similar larger casters made by Payton. The casters are stamped P Mfg Co. Nov 22 81 as best as can be seen. But the full name cannot or was not included on these. Two of the five still have the original wooden wheels; the other three have fallen off. They are unique because the three 1/4” mounting holes are hidden within the skirted swivel base which holds the disc shaped Babbitt bearings. The mounting screws are screwed in via the underside access hole ... moreas it rotates around(see pictures) The wooden wheels can be replaced because casters of this era were“pinned” in place. Remove pin insert wooden wheel and reinsert pins blunting the ends. The dimensions are as follows(approximately) Overall measurements of each caster is 2- 3/4' tall by 1– 1/2'wide. Mounting Plates are 1– 1/2" in diameter and the stem insert is 1” tall. The wheels measure 1– 1/8” by 5/8” and provide 1– 3/4” overall clearance furniture. Good condition for their age. All spin freely without extensive rust issues. They were cleaned and lightly oiled and can be easily restored for authentic antique furniture restoration, but some want to maintain the antiquity and current condition so we are leaving restoration decision to you. Lots of primitive antiques, farm finds, folk art, and the usual wacky Maureen stuff- you don’t want to miss this week! I just loved the look and feel of this one- regardless of whether or not you need it for a chair! It tells its own story- advertising on the top. Milwaukee Chair Company Pat. Oct. 20, 1914. It also has the number 21 and the word"Pull" on the knob that comes out of the wheel. This knob is attached to a spring that works quite well- pulling out, and then springing back into place when you release it. The piece is round, made from cast iron, measures 4 5/8" diameter without the tab, and weighs a hefty 1 1/2 lbs. It is in excellent ... moresolid and sturdy condition, with an old black finish that shows wear in some spots, and very light surface rust where the metal is exposed. It's minor. There's a fair amount of dust and dirt on the piece- it could use a good cleaning- I have not tried to clean it in any way. It's a neat old industrial piece of cast iron! Great patina…slight rust, but no extreme pitting, cracks, chips, etc. Pretty carved design on the face with coiled pull.
