It is marked"Heywood" on one side and"Eclipse" on the other. Also, there is a"3" There are 5 counter sunk holes around the perimeter of the base and 4 in the top. It has no breaks or repairs, but it also does not sit flat(see further description) The height is adjusted by loosening the 7/8" hex head bolt on the upper part of the cast iron base. Moving the top piece, and then re-tightening the bolt. This pedestal was designed to be screwed to the floor. When it is screwed fast. The screws prevent it from wobbling. When it is not screwed down, it does not sit flat, so it will need to be affixed to something flat(like a board) or have adjustable feet added(threaded chair glides and some nuts would work) or be shimmed(layers of felt, glued together to accommodate the varying distance between the base's rim and the floor) etc. If you have any questions. It also has some really fantastic old green paint on it. One side is marked MEDINA NY and the other side is marked BIGNALL CO. This stand or base stands 19 ¾” tall at the top rim and measures 8” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 13” across at the outside edges and 12 ½” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked 12 1/2. Each side has a graceful arched arm for supporting the top piece. The arches or support arms have a series of circular cutouts in graduated sizes. There is a small square nut sort of quick soldered or tacked in one of the smaller circles– it looks like it will pop right out with a bit of force and a screwdriver. But I left it there. The original owner must have modified it for some reason to suit his needs. It does not have anything to do with the structural integrity of the piece. The center post is attached to the stacked domed base. The top circular rim is attached with screws, nuts, and bolts- I took pictures of how the it is attached from underneath. There is no damage to this piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There is flaking and missing old green paint here and there with the original black paint showing through. The underside of the base has some rusting, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. I gave this piece a quick wipe down with some warm water and a sponge and dried it completely– nothing else. This base will be a work of art– well, it already is. Here is a nice set of Kenney Bros& Wolkins cast iron adjustable table legs. They would make a great coffee table. End table, or whatever else you can dream up for them. Great industrial look to them. Legs are in great shape with no cracks or repairs. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. There is light rust in places. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The legs are 11 and 3/4" wide at the base, and 7 and 1/2" wide at the top. They adjust from 15 and 1/2" tall at the lowest to 20 and 1/4" tall at the highest. feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.

These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. The usable space between the front and back legs, for a shelf for instance, is 15" The distance from the back of the splash brace to the front lip is 30.5" Distance between the outer edges of the front and back feet is 24" Each leg weighs just under 60 pounds. Vintage Cast Iron Machine or Table Base The wood table height is 24" from floor and 18"wide by 29" width What a great TV stand! The cast iron base is about 21-1/2" height. The feet are 23" square at the floor. This came from a blacksmith shop and had an anvil on it but I think it originally was for some sort of belt driven machine as there is evidence of an arbor. The top shows a lot of wear and grime. There is a semi-circle section of iron that was removed from one of the legs. Please see close up on the fifth picture. On the inside of each leg there is a bracket to support a shelf. What better for a TV stand? As pictured the table weighs 100 pounds with a ship weight of 120 pounds. Very sturdy and with a great mix of the original black paint and bare iron where the paint has worn thru from years of use. There is also a small brass plate riveted to the base which could look awesome if you decide to polish it up! Base measures 10" diameter, the top pad is 7" x 7" there are 4 holes top and 6 at the bottom for mounting a table top or foot pads etc(3 of the holes in the base have nuts and bolts in place which can be removed if you need to or left as-is) It adjusts from 18" tall down to 11 1/4" tall. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Table Base Legs Vintage Metal Victorian
Item Details Description Set of antique Machine Age industrial table legs. These table bases are about 28-1/2 inches tall. The top mounting area is about 12-1/2" inches wide. The feet of the legs are about 18 inches apart when measured from toe to toe. As you can see from the photos these legs have places for the stabilizer bars which are included. The stabilizer bars bolt through the legs and attach to the bottom of the top. Legs will need to be about 25" apart to use the stabilizer bars on the angle they fit to the legs. You could go longer if desired. One leg gas small crack in the top cross piece by the finial. And there is a casting imperfection(bubble) on the leg just below the cross piece on the same leg. The legs and stabilizer bars have been sandblasted lightly using Q-Rock glass sand. There is some pitting damage to the ... moreone foot but doesn't look bad. Paint or use Stove Black to finish the surface. Includes both legs and both stabilizer bars as shown. Weight 28 lbs without packaging. Note: I work double shifts and odd hours at my real job. Here we have a very nice matching set of 4 older vintage antique cast iron table or Machine base legs. I found these years ago while urban camping in an abandoned factory in New York City that was being demolished and I had permission to strip out. When found they were attached to a wooden top which was in rough condition so I just removed the legs and took it. Looks like it was a table that held parts that they were making. Legs measure about 20 1/2 inch tall, the top is about 3 1/2 inch along each edge. I think they are actually pressed steel but kind of hard to tell, could be cast iron. They have several coats of old paint with some loss and prior coats showing through, might have had an original porcilin finish, in any case they have a wonderful patina finish with a great look now I think. PAIR Antique Vintage Cast Iron White Porcelain Table or Sink Legs
I have up for sale a neat matching pair of vintage Cast Iron with Fired On Porcelain legs. I believe that they originally came off of an old sink. As they were purchased from an older gent that ran a plumbing store and along the way salvaged old plumbing related items. The legs are the type in which the sink would fit into the back section of the leg. Not sit directly on top. View pic#4 and you will see what I mean by this. The legs measure approx 26" tall and weigh approx 10 lbs apiece. Both are in very good to excellent condition- One leg has a small chip to the porcelain near the bottom of the leg- shown in the last pic. Overall they are in excellent shape for their age. The bolt head is underneath, you might be able to get it out, if not a top could still be mounted using the bigger holes. It has aging and wear. Some surface rust etc, but is awfully cool! They're in great condition with no breaks or cracks. There is some minor rust on the feet but this should clean up nicely. I have about 700 items listed and more on the way. This is an antique set of cast iron legs from a Singer treadle machine. These are great for making a bench or table or repair your machine. There is one wheel missing but a lot of people take these off anyway cause they don't want their bench or whatever they make rolling around. If you want I can take the other 3 wheels off before I ship them. You can also easily replace this wheel if you have one and they are easy to find on ebay.
