This auction is for an Art Deco or Art Nouveau WMF Silverplate Over Porcelain Tea Set- all of the pieces are marked. The teapot measures 7 1/4" tall by 6 3/4" wide from the tip of the spout to the edge of the handle and has a tight hairline on the inside of the porcelain- the sugar and creamer are in excellent condition with no damage- the damage on the teapot isn't visible when displayed.

This is a great Pairpoint creamer. Sugar& tray set with an Art Nouveau look. It is a heavy set. It has a handcrafted look about it with crimped, ruffled edges and a dimpled design on the sides of the creamer and sugar. The decorative handles look like they are twigs that have foliage or vines growing on them. The tray is very attractive with the same crimped, ruffled edge as the C&S with a ladder design running all the way around it. It is sitting on 4 very decorative feet that lifts it about 1" off the table and has a raised area for each piece to sit on. It is silverplated with an excellent patina. It is marked"Pairpoint Mfg. Co. New Bedford Mass. outside a circle with Quadruple Plate with the Pairpoint logo inside the circle. Art Nouveau Inspired Silver Plate Creamer and Sugar by James W Tufts ca 1900
James W Tufts made high quality silver plated wares from about 1875-1915. He often used nature themes his work was highly detailed and of the best quality rivaling more well known silver makers like Gorham and Tiffany. This creamer and sugar set is a fine example of his work, oval bodies decorated with repousse' garlands of flowers and ribbons, scrolled handles and twisted rope borders. They are marked with his co. logo(see pics) and the bodies measure 5" x 3" the creamer is 6.5" and the sugar 7" across the handles. Up for sale an Art Nouveau German silverplate sugar and creamer set with undertray by B Bohrmann. Frankfurt, Germany dating to the early 20th century. The sugar, creamer and tray have both chased and engraved decoration that looks like ocean waves crashing on the shore with the resulting foam. The edges of each piece are also wonderfully fluted and the interior of the sugar and creamer are gold washed. The naturalistic design is also seen in the tendril-like handle of the creamer. The tray measures 7"x5" and the creamer and sugar are each 2" tall and their openings both measure 2.75" in diameter. A lovely, usable and stylish set! Excellent condition with no plate loss. For auction is a classic(and very graceful! Art Deco sugar pot from France. Probably from the 1930’s, perhaps earlier. It would have been filled with cubes of sugar wrapped in paper. Just as they do today(hence, no lid) I photographed it with different backgrounds because it’s so reflective. Dimensions: 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide at the mouth. This piece was made by Pairpoint Manufacturing in New Bedsford during the art nouveau period. It’s simple and classic with an ornate handle and a sweeping spout. The company was founded in 1880 and ceased production in 1958. The piece stands just under 4 1/2 inches high and is 5 1/2 inches handle to lip. The PP marks and#334 indicates an early pattern. The plate is in good condition with some wear at the curves. And a few shallow dents. A graceful piece that gives pleasure just looking at it. This holder comes with a lovely medium blue glass insert with vertical ribbed panels and polished pontil on base. The holder has an ornate pattern on the legs as well as the metal side panels and the ring around the top area where it also has areas to hold 6 spoons. This piece stands about 4 3/4" high with a diameter of 4 1/4" not including the handles which makes it 6 1/2" if handles are included. The glass insert is original to the piece and in good shape with just tiny specks of imperfection along the top near the creases of the panels. From the late 1800's or early 1900's but before 1912, at the end of the Quadruple Plate era. The caddy is in both the traditional shiny bright silver plat and the"Butler Finish" a softer silver plate finish used to replicate ... moreyears of polishing by a butler. The inside is clean and usable and there are no monograms or dents. There is a slight pencil point ding on the underside. The silver plate is in good condition and the Fleur De Lis finial is secure with no repairs. Fantastic piece. We will combine shipping when ever possible. Elegant Art Nouveau Siver plated Creamer with Calla Lillies
Charming Art Nouveau period creamer with two lovely stylized calla lillies on each side of the pitcher. Graceful in its form it stands almost 5 inches tall from the bottom to the top of the handle. From handle to spout it is about 4 inches. The bottomed 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The condition is good as it has no dings or dents but it does have some silverplate loss around the bulbous part of the creamer by the stems of the callas. Not a lot but still visible. I am sorry the reflection was so great. I could not get a good picture. It is well signed with an engraved B. Pat. June 14, 1904 and manufactured by the Victor Silver Company and the manufacturing number is 2672. A really pretty little piece.
