Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Offered for sale is a circa 1940-1950 bench made childs toy dresser or doll dresser. Nice diminutive size. Made of solid cherry wood. With an interior of pine. You can see the bottoms of the drawers have been chamfered, just like an original from the 1800s. An old piece of glass was added to the mirror. Which is a nice look. Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. Dresser with 4 drawers. Vanity with mirror, and bench This furniture belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1898 The markings on it say"Colonial Furniture Company Bassett Virginia 1936" These pieces have not been refinished and have nicks. Scratches, and a couple of cigarette burns. The bench has been recovered and the fabric is in good condition The dresser measures 17 1/2" deep x 46" high x 32" wide. The vanity measures 17" deep x 28" high x 45" wide. The vanity mirror measures 34" high x 22" wide. This is a really nice three tier dresser mirror or shaving mirror. As good of original finish as I have seen-smooth. Even, and with a nice aged patina. Piece is completely original in every way. Mirrors are also original with some minor losses-not enough to justify replacement. Drawer in the base for your stuff. Note the beautiful quartered oak used in construction. Circa 1910 I would think. Absolutely beautiful true Victorian bureau/dresser top mirror. It appears to be made of either rosewood or mahogany. It has a compartment with a double hinged lid at the top of the base. This is a very old vanity or dresser set in great condition. The items appear to be bakelite but I am going by what I was told when I purchased the lot at an estate sale. The pictures show the pieces to have a design or it might be stains that bleed throughout the backs with metal tear drops in the center. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. I only used water to clean these because I did not want to jeapordize damaging the set with any chemicals. The measurements are as follows. Mirror: 10 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide. Brush: 8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. File: 6 3/4 inches long X 1 inch wide. Container or Storage Box: 7 inches long X 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep. A turn-of-the cent ury from a Verde Valley. Arizona, estate sale. One draw at the top with cabinet below. The harp-shaped mirror frame did hold a mirror, now missing. Dovetail joinings and metal casters. Looks to be oak, distressed with a white finish. Other than missing mirror it's in great condition. Measurements: 28" high. VTG 3 pc 50'S Black Art Deco Wood Bedroom Furniture Set Chest Dresser Mirror I remember these pieces in my aunt's bedroom many years ago. Pretty sure they are from the 50's. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. There is s faint line around the top where she must have ... morehad some sort of cover over it to protect the top. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Drawers are dovetailed and made of what I think is oak. Description: Chest-45" tall; 20" deep; 40" long with 5 drawers- Note on the back there is a surface nick on one leg. But does not impact the piece. Dresser-32" tall; 60" long; 21" deep with 3 sets of 3 drawers(the 3 large ones are in the center) Mirror attaches to the top with screws in the back. Mirror-50 1/2" long by 33" tall(including 1 3/4" wood piece at bottom) Beveled(some clouding& some slight silver loss typical for it's age) Attached to wood which then sits on top of the dresser and bolted to 3 pieces of wood in the back. PLEASE NOTE THE GOLD TOPS AT THE TOP OF THE MIRROR. I have kept these pieces for several years hoping to use them. But after retiring find that I am definitely downsizing. This beautiful antique American quartersawn oak dresser has lovely carving across the top above the mirror and serpentine front two over two drawers below. It stands 81 inches tall and measures 44 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The dresser travels easily in two pieces as the mirror top section is 48 inches tall and the base top surface is 33 inches tall.
