This trunk measures approximately 22" ... morelong X 14" wide X 15 1/2" high and it has two hinges in back that hold the lid securely to the base. There used to be sturdy leather handles on each side of the trunk but they are no longer intact, these can be purchased inexpensively on-line and they're fairly easy to replace. The corner protectors and hardware appear to be brass plated steel. There are two hasp type closures, one on each side of the lock and the lock needs to be bent just a little to close it securely. We tried the key and the locking mechanism seems to work properly but we didn't want to damage anything so it will arrive open with the key tucked in an envelope safely inside. The inside of the trunk is wood and there should be wood beneath the black material covering the outside(it is non-magnetic and we don't think it's metal) This little trunk is in very good condition and once it's restored it should be a beauty- perfect for your antique doll collection or as a gift for a very special grandchild. The two drawer fronts have brass plates with ring pulls, and are painted with a foliage design. The whole thing has a great distressed patina, just enough to have that great vintage look. The old mirror is backed with a small plank and there are three finials in the frame, as well as two on the uprights. The dresser measures approx. 10.5" wide by 15" tall and 6" deep. One of the drawers has been lovingly restored. And the mirror shows its age with some dark patches in the silvering; please see the photos for the extent. Antique Childs Vanity...late 1920's to 1950's
Little girls play vanity with a single removable drawer that opens and closes and a matching bench. This was my mothers when she was a little girl in the 1920's and then I played with it when I was a little girl in the 1950's. Pale pink with blue trim and decals(lamb) on top of the bench and drawer. The mirror is moveable. Has a few nicks and chips from wear. But, any individual that enjoys refinishing furniture could make it look like new again. It measures 20 1/8" wide by 35" high from the bottom of the legs to the top of the mirror. Antique Folkart Childs Toy Doll VICTORIAN EASTLAKE Dresser & Mirror 14 3/4" tall
This is a really nice piece. It measures only 14 3/4" tall, 7 1/2" across the widest, and 5 3/8" deep. There is handwriting in pencil on the back of the mirror, I cannot make it out, though. There are 2 drawers, and a real mirror, which shows some discoloration. On the right side of the mirror, it was either made this way, or the piece was broke off years ago, since it is stained. Antique Childs Miniature Size Oak Wood Vanity Dresser Doll Toy 17 " tramp art
This is a child size oak dresser(17" tall and 9 1/2" wide) that was made in 1957. Signed by the one who made the little dresser. It is made of oak with a mirror, has what looks like some tramp art on the front. It has a mirror on top and on the top of the dresser is a picture of a woman that is trimmed in satin around the picture. The same color ribbon is around the front and sides of the dresser. There are 4 drawers inside. There are initials on the front. The mirror has some streaks across it and one of the drawers bottoms is made of a cigar box. Beautiful mirror attached to the dresser.
