Measurement: approx. 12" long; 5 3/4" deep; approx. 17 1/2" tall(includes both dresser and mirror) and approx. 9 1/2" tall(includes just the base) Painted white. Has 2 drawers that pull out. Mirror is framed and tilts. Unmarked(who knows what's under the paint? My pictures are part of my summary and show better than I can describe fully. So make sure you see them all. 1880's Antique Child's/Doll Salesman Sample Dresser W/Framed Mirror.Excellent!
This is a miniature or salesman sample of a dresser that is probably from the 1880's. It is well made from oak. It measures 16" tall. 10" wide and 6" deep. It has 3 drawers that have dovetail construction.There is a swivel mirror 5.5"x 6" in a fluted frame. The top of the frame has wooden dowels in the corners. It is in perfect condition with no marks. Chips or problems that I can see. One drawer inside has a crack but no separation. On the bottom drawer is a sticker with copperplate writing that says'Doll's bureau. Belonged& used by the four Lundberg girls. Now on 9/13/75 probably about 88 years old. Given to Peggy for her birthday 9/30/75" Perfect for dolls or bears. Doll not included. So sweet! For auction today we have one antique miniature child's or doll's dresser in nice condition. Measures 10.5 inches tall and just shy of 10 inches wide. Weighing 4 pounds. It is all wood, and has been painted a salmon pink color- perhaps a bit orange; please see all pictures for true coloring. Definitely vintage and created in an Amish style, the floral motif on the front of the 2 drawers is actually an applique. Petite brass knobs give it all a quaint appeal.
