This antique/ vintage salesman sample makes a great chest of ... moredrawers for a doll. The wood is either mahogany or walnut. Chest has very nice carved feet front and back with bowed top as well as bowed front. It measures approx 22" tall including swivel mirror. 12 1/4" wide at feet, and 9" deep at feet and has 2 small drawers at top and l larger drawer at bottom. Mirror is in fine condition. The small drawers each measure approx 5 3/8" x 4" x 2 1/2" deep. The one on the right has a smaller pull than the others but it appears to have been put on at the same time. Bottom drawer measures approx 9 3/8" x 8" x 3 3/8" deep. Bottom drawer has original lock(no key) and is lined with a silver color paper which appears to be very old. It has heavy patina on the ... moreback of both brass trays. There is patina around all of the sides of the brass and in spots on the carved scenes. The wooden stand is in very good condition. It has some patina on the metal hinges. One of the legs has a missing supporting piece(about a 1 inch long little piece of wood) This piece can use some heavy cleaning. This table would have supported a lamp. This lamp is not included. Pleasingly solid brass trays are supported by a folding base to produce a two tier table. The piece is suitable both for permanent location or as on occasional table. When in folded position the table assumes very little space and can be slid under a sofa or such; in addition the gorgeous solid trays may be used on their own for serving and display purposes. The base is a six leg folding design with dragons head carvings to the upper. The trays display wonderful scense with floral and foliate detailing to the perimeter and a central engraving featuring oriental characters in traditional dress. Overall this peice of furniture is in good condition and will make a great addition to any setting. 20" tall approximately 17" width 10" wide lower tray 14" wide upper tray We are a non-profit store and this was a donation. We are fairly certain this is not a reproduction piece and is truly from the 1930's. We do not know much about this piece except for a previous Ebay listing of a very similar item that sold in the UK in Sept. 2012. This is a fantastic consigned piece from a Wellesley. MA estate. This is an bureau of solid mahogany from the first half of the 1900s, to our determination. In fact, it has the old Mahogany Association label on the right inside drawer, which was used by American quality furniture manufacturers starting at the turn of the 20th century until the mid century to designate genuine crafted mahogany from other woods. This piece is the real thing! It was professionally refinished by a well-known restorer of high-end and antique furniture in the Boston area. Condition is outstanding. The bureau is just gorgeous! This rich golden oak antique piece is stunning in a bedroom. Living room or dining room. It has brilliant golden grains and is 52" wide. has a 41" ornate beautiful beveled and original mirror that has minimal silvering. The base of the bureau has two bottom drawers that are four ft. wide and two side by side two foot wide drawers on the top and third level. All pulls and key holes have original and ornate brass. On top of the 3 foot high base of drawers is the 41" high mirror that is ornate but attractive(grand total height 77" The condition overall is excellent and is used"rarely" in our guest bedroom. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Dresser w/ Mirror Chest of 6 Drawers Bureau
Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. Antique Victorian Bureau/Dresser Top Swivel Mirror
Absolutely beautiful true Victorian bureau/dresser top mirror. It appears to be made of either rosewood or mahogany. It has a compartment with a double hinged lid at the top of the base. Please look at all pictures as this piece is not in pristine condition. But at the same time, please notice the beautiful carvings throughout. It is in overall good condition and is a true beauty. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Antique Federal Style Bureau Set with Matching Mirror (Local Pickup)
You know what your bedroom needs? These two bureaus and the matching mirror! Not only are they beautiful. With a rich wood flame and stunning drawer pulls, but they are spacious and in great condition! And at $400 for all three, it's a deal and a half bargain! The five-drawer bureau is 50.5" high. And about 24.5" deep. It is 37" at its widest point, which is the curve of the feet in the front. At the top it is about 36" wide. The top drawer is divided into three parts and one of the larger bottom drawers is divided into two parts to help keep your stuff organized. The top has a small stain from I don't even know what, but it can be easily covered and doesn't detract from the piece's overall attractiveness. The three-drawer bureau is 35.5" high and 23" deep. And about 50" wide from one tip ... moreof the curved foot to the other, making it about 49" across the top. The top drawer of this bureau is also divided into three parts. The other two drawers are just roomy as can be so you can get all your stuff off the floor and/or treadmill and into them. The top of this bureau has some markings on it, one from where a lamp sat on it forever and some scratches from general use over the last, oh, I don't know at least 30 years, which is just how long it has been in my family. The mirror is a wall hanging mirror 24.5" wide by 28" inches high. It has the same lovely flame pattern as the bureaus. Plus some open woodwork at the top. TRUE ART DECO 3 DRAWER DRESSER BUREAU WITH MIRROR
This is an old Art Deco dresser from the late 1930's. It has three drawers with chrome drawer pulls that are original to the dresser. The drawer4s have a nice grain pattern typical of the era. The mirror has Deco style stepped side panels. There's no exceptional wear on the dresser beyond what is normal for a 75 year old piece of furniture. The drawers do stick occasionally. But the finish on the piece is nice and polished up nicely. The top doesn't have quite the same shine being the part that has seen the most wear over the years, but Old English works wonders on it. A sweet Victorian style dresser bureau and/or vanity with swivel mirror. The 3 drawers are roomy and open and close easily. absolutely fabulous old old old dresser with original hanging mirror! original design elements on dresser backsplash/ drawer corners and around knobs on top drawers So Cute! I changed out the original wooden knobs on the top drawers to a vintage blue milk glass ~ love the contrast the dresser had been painted all of these colors you see but I don't think they were consistent layers I sanded back most of the outer layer to expose a deeper butterscotch/ mustard color with hints of peach/ pink/ white and aqua on the mirror spindles as you can see one side is almost a solid mustard. In a glossy enamel paint and the other side(end) is splotchy with a deeper gold the front is mostly a light yellow which could be sanded further to expose more of the mustard/ butterscotch and whatever else lies below ~ I lined the interior drawer bottoms with ... morevintage seersucker fabric in cream with a gold stripe it had wooden wheels on it but I removed them as they were worn out and almost square ~ you could add wheels if you wanted to as the holes are already there mirror has some crackling/grazing/slight fogging ~ still in pretty nice condition ~ gives a true clear image condition: sturdy ~ solid ~ not loose or shaky! in very good antique condition each drawer opening has the old metal guides on each side ~ dresser is missing a total of 2 ~ 1 on the middle drawer and 1 on a top drawer ~ drawers open easily and it doesn't seem to be a big problem ~ they would probably move a little smoother with those 2 guides installed and maybe even some waxing/lubrication on the drawer itself where it slides in and out top of the dresser has some wood/veneer cracking/splitting(minor) on one side ~ I have sanded but not glued anything ~ I like it the way it is but you may want to smooth it a little more ~ top has natural aging and crackling this particular dresser/ bureau is so unique and sweet and charming I don't have words enough! measures 35" high 39" wide 20" deep mirror extends 26 1/2" more in height mirror is 29&

This antique bureau and chest of drawers belonged to my grandmother. And she got married in the late 1920's and purchased this set shortly thereafter. They are beautiful. Bureau has three large drawers plus mirror. Chest of drawers has three large drawers plus a 2-door compartment at the bottom. Solid wood construction, with dovetailed drawers and Bakelite handles, in excellent vintage condition. THIS IS A PICK UP ITEM ONLY* This is a Lovely Antique Oak Dresser Bureau Chest W/Attached Mirror. The bureau/dresser measures 75" tall to the top of the mirror by 17-1/2" deep by 39" long. The shelf measures 4-1/2" deep by 27" long. The mirror measures 26-1/2" by 21" The carved wood piece at the very top center of the mirror is a replacement as are the two side end pieces at the top. The long back brackets securing the mirror to the chest are a replacement. The hardware has been replaced. The drawers are pegged. The mirror and the dresser come apart for transport. Antique Pine Dresser Bureau Handmade Primitive Needs TLC Pick up Only
My grandmother made furniture. Or rebuilt pieces from parts she found in thrift shops. She was born in 1886, came to this country when she was in her early 20's, died in her 90's. I was told by my mother(also gone) that my grandmother made this dresser in the 1940's. The dresser is approximately 38" wide. 18" deep 34" tall. Give or take here and there. I uploaded a lot of pictures so that you can get an idea of the many scratches and other signs of wear. One of the drawers has a hole in the bottom of it from a knot in the wood. The wood is very dry. There is wear around the pulls. The wood has a nice patina for the most part, but you can definitely see the age. The keyholes were not positioned perfectly(no, I don't know what happen to the keys. The backs are separating from the bottoms of two of the drawers. ... moreOne of the photos shows the inside of a drawer front where the keyhole was installed.you can see the cuts in the wood are not professionally made. My grandmother was just putting this together for herself.she would be surprised that it was still around. If you'd like it. Come and get it! PAINE SIX DRAWER BOWED FRONT BIRDS EYE MAPLE BUREAU
This offering is for a magnificent Maple bureau with labels from the PAINE Furniture Company. Boston,Mass. It is rather unique with the curved or bowed front. The six drawer faces and top of the bureau are not flat. Looks like a birds eye maple veneer on the drawer faces and top only. All drawers have dovetail joints,two handle and a skeleton key lock. I believe the hardware is original to the piece.The small metal push in wheels have been removed. but the metal collars remain. The four legs have not been cut or damaged. Exact age is unknown. This model with a curved front is not shown in the 1880 catalog. Measurements: Height is approximately 48"Maximum depth is just under 19' And the width is 26-1/8" All drawers slide in& out easily.The sides have straps of wood added by the manufacturer.
