Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

Antique Victorian Bureau/Dresser Top Swivel Mirror
Absolutely beautiful true Victorian bureau/dresser top mirror. It appears to be made of either rosewood or mahogany. It has a compartment with a double hinged lid at the top of the base. Please look at all pictures as this piece is not in pristine condition. But at the same time, please notice the beautiful carvings throughout. It is in overall good condition and is a true beauty. The side hand carved mirror mounts are supported by threaded wooden bolts and attached by large wooden screws(please note pictures) The oval flat piece that covers the back of the mirror was been replaced many years ago. This is an antique dresser with a beveled marble top(marble recently replaced) and candle-stands flanking the large mirror in the middle. The greatest thing about this piece is the decorative top that attaches via pegs to the top of the mirror(see pics) It has rolling wheels on the bottom. So it's easy to move around. This is a sturdy wood antique Victorian 3 drawer dresser with period trim and light carving. The brass pulls are original and ornate and should be stripped to show their true beauty. This is a compact apartment size piece that would fit easily into a shabby chic decor. It could use a new coat of paint. Each of the drawers has a keyhole and lock though sadly the keys are long gone though they seem to be very standard and therefore replaceable. The drawer depths ascend in size; top drawer 6" deep. This is a really nice piece. It measures only 14 3/4" tall, 7 1/2" across the widest, and 5 3/8" deep. There is handwriting in pencil on the back of the mirror, I cannot make it out, though. There are 2 drawers, and a real mirror, which shows some discoloration. On the right side of the mirror, it was either made this way, or the piece was broke off years ago, since it is stained. Indiana– History and Families, Volume 1: Joe Hamilton started Blanchard-Hamilton Furniture Company ca. 1890. And it operated until about 1933. It made home bookcases. This dresser was made sometime between 1890 and 1933 We acquired it from a 91 year old woman in North Carolina. Who is originally from the Illinois and Iowa area It has so much style and personality Scroll work. Metal caster wheels, and it seems to be burl wood, tiger eye ... moreor curly maple wood(but we aren't experts- use your own judgment from the photos) The drawers come and in out without sticking. And are still well attached at the dovetailed corners Some of the drawers have floral liners(you could remove with adhesive remover. Or put new ones over top) Smoke-free home Measurements(rounded to nearest inch) 36" wide 44" tall 17" deep No gouges in the wood. Or stains on the side pieces Some water spots and stains on the top flat surface. However they'll be covered with your beautifully displayed items! Original finish- we just freshened it up with lemon oil One leg has been repaired and is sturdy(you can tell it was a repair from long ago. As the wood tone almost blends in! Legs are sturdy. No creaking or bending The top back piece has some white tiny speckles. Which look like tiny dots of paint And there are a couple chipped areas where the original veneer finish has chipped(common for its age) Great condition for its age! Antique Eastlake Victorian-style Wood Dresser
This is a great old dresser. It has nice wood grain. I'm not sure if it's oak. Cherry or walnut. Take a look at the pictures. There is a marble insert with the old-fashioned glove drawers on either side. The marble is undamaged. There are locks on all of the drawers. We have one key. The dresser is in very good. Pre-loved condition. The drawers have dovetailing and the drawer pulls appear to be original. There is no mirror. There is no mildew odor and the dresser is very clean. Here are the rough measurements. 38 1/2" wide- 18" deep- 381/2" tall from the floor to the top of the small drawers.

This is a gorgeous mahogany dresser.I'm not sure of it's age.But it's a high quality REPRODUCTION of 19th century furniture with all the details and craftsmanship.It's made of mahogany inside and out.The seven drawers have dovetail joints and four have a lock.I don't have the key but I'm sure you can have one made. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. There are some minor scratches.Chipped veneer and chipped molding as seen in the pics.There's also some indentations on the top from someone using it as a writing surface but this piece is fairly tall so it's not that noticeable.However,this can easily be removed once stripped and sanded if ... moreyou choose to repair it. It also has one knob that's not original on the drawer with the scallop detail. I'd say most of this piece can be touched up and just the top could be stripped and refinished if you feel the indentations are noticeable. Hi. You are looking at this Beautiful Vintage Dark Wood Dresser. This piece could use a little love but, it is an excellent piece as is. This dresser has 5 dwares(2 which are smaller. On top) The 2 smaller dwares both lock with a key. I do have a key but I am unsure if this is the original key. Both the lock holes have a very distiguished look about them, please see the photo's, as they are gorgeous and they do have a very.antiquish look about them. The dresser itseld is beautiful. But it does have a couple spots that are worn which clearly does come from age. The Dresser Measures 45.5" x 16" x 31.5" The dresser does sit on 4 small wheels.
